I think the phrase holds true in some companies and businesses.I haven't carried out an empirical study so I cannot conclude on the findings. I think the phrase is just blown out of proportion. Customers are being neglected and not attended to because the company think they customers don't have a choice but hang on like a pendulum.
As far as the customers actually still having the money in your pocket I will always have the believe that they are always right because what matters to me is getting their money into my business account.Or can one say it's a medium to quickly settle dispute between employees and customers that will not lead to situations of loosing customers or affecting sales of produce by the said company
The customers will always be right because you actually set up your business to sell your product and services to them and not to drag who is right and who is wrong.In my honest opinion, it's true to about 70% because sometimes these customers then misuse or abuse this privilege that has been phrased. They'll be wrong and still tell you "customers are always right"
So for me, I'll say customers aren't always right all the time
As a business owner you should really care about your business you will always have high priority for your customers because the only thing that matters for them is to buy what you are selling and the only thing that matters for you is to get the money into your business accounts.When we go to various companies our sole business it is easy to say customers are always right. Is it really applicable in all situations or is it another way to force employees to always be nice
The truth of the matter is that your business is useless without getting your customers money into your business account so I don't see the reason why you should be dragging who is right and who is wrong when what is invited for you is to get the money from them.That feeling is just there simply because you always want your customers to feel very important and always patronize you that is why the phrase is there a body in the real sense customers can not always be right
