Taking a break may be necessary for your mental health when you feel overwhelmed with your business, you're having low sales, or just feel tired, otherwise I see no reason why you need to take a break from your source of income.

If you think you are losing now and your business has a chance to turn a profit in a few months, you can close the business.There are some businesses that can be against you if you break them, so the business likes whether you want to break into the business or not.

Sure, too much work usually leads to burnouts. It is not a good idea to work without breaks. I usually prefer spreading my leave days, so that i will have enough and regular time to reset.
