That's fun! I'm going to my husband's grandma's house tomorrow to spend time with his grandma and mom. At the school I work at we have this drive up snowcone company called Kona Ice bring us snow cones every Thursday's. It's my favorite! I've been getting the blue raspberry and tiger's blood which is kinda coconut and cherry combined? idk. I love mixing it up.
RIGHT?? Then when I get home I get a text about if I managed to do something this week - which I didn't due to all the meetings I had to prepare for and such it honestly was not a priority for me this week. Their response was "oh okay" which is great. Going out to dinner last night kinda helped get my mind off things and then we came home and watched Puss in Boots 2 which was super cute.
I'm feeling better today - new day for sure, but husband quit his job so there's a new level of stress now lol.I'm getting on and checking the forums - then I'm going to do some work for a little bit. What about you?

I'm glad to hear you did some fun stuff afterwards. It's always good to disconnect from work and just do fun stuff. I haven't seen puss in boots 2. I'd love that movie.

I am glad to have relaxed a bit - it was such a cute movie! Definitely would watch the 2nd one again, the first one was okay, but 2nd one just had more things that made me laugh I think.
On Thursday he discovered he messed something up, and he feared he would get fired. He went in yesterday knowing he had a back up plan to move to this other company possibly. He didn't get fired, but they took a part of the job away from him that was making him extra money. Due to this he knew he couldn't survive on the amount of money and quit. He filled an application out for this other job, and we're just hoping for the best.
I can rent it for 0,99€ on Prime but idk just yet haha.

We went and bought the movie, but that price for a rental does not sound bad!
I hope so! It's a longer drive is the only thing that would suck - but it would be working on HVAC (Air Conditioning and etc) as well as some other things. He has electrical and HVAC experience so he is not worried about it. He is just sad because he lost this job that he was finally happy at.
Listening to 90s music on Winamp, doing some forum work, posting and web surfing. I'm excited for the new WNBA season next week and the CFL Canadian football season next month, June 8th.
I don't know many people who still buy movies! I can buy it on Prime as well but it's 13,99€. I'd rather buy the physical dvd then. 😅
I get that he is sad. Being happy at a job seems to be rather rare. But maybe this new one will be better, who knows. How long would the drive be?

Otherwise I just stream them. It will be a 40 minute to an hour drive depending on the traffic. The cool thing is he will be working for the same company as his mom.
40 to 60 minutes is indeed a long drive... I once had a job where I had to drive 45 minutes for, it was temporary but if it would've been permanent I don't know if I would've kept going for long. 😅

I've heard of Kona Ice before, don't know if I've ever had their snowcones though. When we were little, my sister's favorite was usually tiger's blood. I've always mainly liked pink bubblegum and cinnamon.

I have a 7 minute drive to work, and I want to move to a new house, but the newer houses will make it into a 20-30 minute drive, although close... the traffic is bad because it's a newly developing area. I can't imagine having a long drive permanently! He doesn't mind as much, except promise he'll wake up late a few times. lol.

I've never tried bubblegum or cinnamon. I know Kona ice has a bubblegum flavor though, but never seen cinnamon.

Ahhh... nothing like using the push mower on the back acre in mid 80 degree temps and high humidity... work up a sweat and then it starts raining on you. Don't like mowing wet grass, but was about 2/3's done so finished it out... Still had the front and sides to do, but the excess lightning convinced me to call it a day.
