Relaxed day at work sounds nice!I start my day with a meeting but plan on reading to the kids when I do have classes. I need to prep for my meeting tomorrow though as well.

Yep. One today and I think 2 for tomorrow. One of the ones for tomorrow is going to be a difficult one too.
My students range from 10-12. They are all in the same grade level, but some were held back or have late birthdays. Here it is considered 5th grade.
So how’s it like? Have you had other ages to teach?
I student taught, meaning before I officially had my degree/teacher license, pre-k children with disabilities (3-4 year olds), 4th grade (9-10 year olds), and I've taught 5th - 6th grade which is 10-13 year olds. Each have their challenges. I love teaching 5th grade because kids typically still want to please you, so they are more mindful. 6th grade is good too, but man their personality really starts coming out! I enjoyed the preschool kids a lot actually, but just knew once I was older I wouldn't be able to do it because of all their energy. I absolutely loved teaching the foundational things to 3-4 year olds, however, most of them had severe disabilities so it also looked different.
Sounds like this wouldn’t be anything for me to do. 😅 I’d be awkward being a teacher.

So, it’s almost weekend again. Time goes by too fast, it’s ridiculous.

I rarely have that to be honest. 😆 My days can get so busy it’s unreal. 🤯
For me it’s just week by week. Sometimes it absolutely blows by, sometimes every day feels like a Monday haha.
Every day this week has felt like a Friday oddly. I’m ready for the weekend lol.
That does not sound like a good thing being disappointed each day it's not the weekend yet. 😂

My day was the roughest of all of the last few weeks. Mentally almost had a melt down and then get told "You can deal with it" basically.
Went out to celebrate Mother's Day today with my mother and grandmothers. Went to Olive Garden and ate lasagna and it was so delicious. After that, I got my first snowcone of this year; pink bubblegum.
That's the shittiest comment anyone can give. What do they know how your mental state is at that time for you to handle it. Ew. Hope you find a way to process it and feel better soon. 😘
