Should you hire an accountant to oversee the finances in your business?

If your business is still in the early stages of development then you might feel the finance aspect is something you can just handle yourself. But when it is growing up to be a large scale business you would need a certified professional to help you with the finance.

So at that time it is advisable to hire someone to help you while you focus on other aspects of the business. It will save you unnecessary stress in the long run.
Do you think this is a good idea?

You cannot be hiring an accountant when your business is just barely worth just a thousand dollars. That level of finance is what your basic entrepreneurial skills can handle. You would need an accountant when the worth of your business is in the millions.

Of course you did not need to hire an accountant for your freelancing work because it is still small. But if you have a business that is so big and complex doing that is necessary.

Yes, I do not need to hire one because i am my own accountant. I must say that there are many free applications that an accountant could use in order to maintain and update his accounts daily.
