In content marketing, SEO is all about crafting valuable, keyword-rich articles, blog posts, and videos that aim to educate and engage an audience. The goal? To pull in traffic through high rankings in search results, encouraging longer visits and repeated interactions with your content.

On the other hand, brand marketing uses SEO to enhance the visibility and reputation of a brand. This could mean optimizing the website to reflect the brand's core values, using keywords that align with the brand’s identity, and ensuring that search results contribute to a positive brand image.

Which SEO approach do you lean towards in your projects: content-driven or brand-driven?

SEO is basically a method to rank high on search engines. However, there are multiple purposes of doing SEO. The obvious one is building organic traffic but if you are able to rank high on search engines, you will also be able to build a brand. If someone searches something online and your brand appears on the search results, that's the best thing to happen to your brand.

No matter strategy being used by SEO expert, the end goal is for the business visibility to me easily picked up on Google as the website get ranked higher. This makes it possible for them to have more viewers checking them out and that directly brings traffic to the website.
