Rural urban migration is an advantage to real estate owners and not a disadvantage because most real estate buildings are in urban areas and people who migrate from rural areas to urban areas and this make the auburn area overpopulated and need for residential buildings

The thing is that most people that migrate from the rural areas do not have the financial capability to patronize real estate agencies that are building a real or serious apartment for people and so this migrators from rural areas do not have the money to either rent or buy all those big houses.

Nowadays, it's not uncommon to see more than 5 people staying in a room together thereby congesting the room and at large the city.

You are right that migration is part of man's nature. However, when it comes to demographics the city gets overcrowded because people there do not want to migrate to the rural areas. Their usual reason is their job in the city which is against the law of migration.

Yes I completely agree with you that rural-urban migration has actually given a boost to the real estate business but the thing is that before most of this rural people are able to have a big money to be able to purchase real estate buildings or properties it takes time.

Rural dwellers tends to want a house immediately after moving tonthe urban settlement , so they tend to rent a house which is a boost to an estate agent and some tends to buy or build their own house themselves.

Urban migration basically has one pressing issue and that is over population. This is an issue as it has lead to high cost of living and heavy house rent for people

I think the rural urban migration is a very big challenge on the city planning system because take for instance my area or city in Abuja Nigeria is going through a big housing crisis as there are so many real estate buildings that are now very empty because most people that migrated to that city do not have the financial wherewithal to rent or purchase those properties.

That is correct. It is indeed an advantage for real estate business owners. It is because people who are from rural areas will need real estate in the urban areas. That is the problem with urban area, the overpopulation. Cities are too crowded from people who came from rural areas looking for job opportunities.
