You have a point with the negligence of the government. But it looks like the government cannot control the developers because those big corporations have the money to spend. In one building to be constructed there will be a need of 50 workers. Those workers usually come from the rural areas.I'll blame this partly on the government of the day for not trying to spread the investments across town making one place attractive only to investors. If the government can make policies like giving tax holidays to some of these companies that don't necessarily have to be close to their markets; that way you have spread of infrastructure
Real estate Business has experienced a tremendous growth over the years that is partly fuelled by rural urban migration. Such movement from rural areas to urban areas paved the way for more development for the urban areas because the new people that are coming in needs accomodations and it's the job of the real estate sector to deliver accommodation for them.
This has led to most rural area dwellers selling their property like land to developers that tends to transform most of these rural areas into urban areas with rapid development.
Nowadays, it's not uncommon to see more than 5 people staying in a room together thereby congesting the room and at large the city.
Rural-urban migration has it's pros and it's cons, we just have to try and reduce it to the barest minimum.

I truly support the fact that for rural areas to stay put in their rural area instead of migrating to the urban areas does facilities and amenities that the urban areas are enjoying should be brought to the rural area but if this facility is abroad to the rural areas then that rural areas ceases to be a rural area instead it's not becomes an urban area.Migration is a situation where one move from his dwelling place to another place to settle. Rural urban migration is no doubt increasing each day as most people in the rural areas hear a lot about things and development That's happening in the urban areas and love to experience it themselves so they try by all means to get someone who stays in the urban areas and also try to raise money for transport just to go to these urban areas to experience life for themselves, this rapid increase in rural urban migration tend to result to over population and nuisance in the urban areas, so in order to control this over population and nuisance it's best that development and facilities that people in urban areas enjoy should be brought to the rural areas so as to reduce the rate at which people migrate from rural areas to urban areas.
There are jobs in the city and they need worker. The rural folks have no job and they need to earn. It is a simple equation that I see here. If the government will put a stop to the construction of big buildings then there will be no more jobs and the rural folks will stay in the farm.I truly support the fact that for rural areas to stay put in their rural area instead of migrating to the urban areas does facilities and amenities that the urban areas are enjoying should be brought to the rural area but if this facility is abroad to the rural areas then that rural areas ceases to be a rural area instead it's not becomes an urban area.
I do not want the government to intervene in the rural urban migration by stopping the development in the urban areas what I would advocate is for the government to bring equal development boats to the urban and rural areas so that it will stop the rural-urban migration. There are jobs in the city and they need worker. Uneven spread of resources in all areas of a state or country is the main reason for rural urban migration.Real estate Business has experienced a tremendous growth over the years that is partly fuelled by rural urban migration. This scenario will definitelly have an effect in the demand and possibly the general rate at which real estate houses are been valued. There would be more needs for lots of development of infrastructure and this will mean more oppourtunities and income for real estate practioners.Rural urban migration puts a lot of pressure on amenities in the cities. This also affects housing as migrants rent affordable rooms in the cities to solve accommodation problems. Because of the high demand of accommodation, developers will be moved to build more residential houses. However this has lead to the increase of accommodation rents across various cities.
Yes this is just the reason people shouldn't even consider investing in the rural settlements because of migration ,a lot of people in the rural settlement are even looking for an opportunity to migrate to a location in which they can have access to better living ,good electricity and employment to doThis scenario will definitelly have an effect in the demand and possibly the general rate at which real estate houses are been valued. There would be more needs for lots of development of infrastructure and this will mean more oppourtunities and income for real estate practioners.
The oppourtunity in the city is more compare to what we have in the rural areas, and investment in the city would bring in quick return for the iinvestor and real estate practitioners because of the already built infrastructure on ground.Yes this is just the reason people shouldn't even consider investing in the rural settlements because of migration ,a lot of people in the rural settlement are even looking for an opportunity to migrate to a location in which they can have access to better living ,good electricity and employment to do
