Earning a decent amount of money is very important in boosting one's morale to put in more effort in their work. However, we realize there are professions that are highly underpaid when you compare with the amount of effort they are putting in.
In my country, teachers are under paid. They work hard but their payment is nothing to write home about. This has led to a situation where less youths are looking up to becoming teachers in the future.
What profession is the most underpaid in your country?

Secondary school and primary school teachers are underpaid in my country. Though the higher institutions lecturers receive good salary but the others don’t. They’re paid below $80 per month whereas there’re some public servants that earn $400 per day

The most underpaid profession in my country are teacher especially in both primary and secondary school. And also police their minimum wage'd small.

Without a doubt, teachers are the most underpaid professionals in my country Nigeria. I don't know why this is so, teachers are supposed to be groomed and cherished but instead they don't value them.

Another profession I feel is underpaid is the government security jobs. In Nigeria we have agencies like halogen that monitors the fuel pipeline and ensure minimal theft of petroleum. These people work from morning till evening and the expense of their lives, they their pay is nothing to write home about. It saddens my heart whenever I see them because I know their efforts are undervalued.

Security outfits are not well paid in my country. The clear examples are police force and other law enforcement agent. Due to the underpayment, they often engage in illicit operation open air extortion at anywhere be it at the traffic, joint, market etc. To make the end meet they often lease fire arms to the hoodlums for a sum cash. They turn the law upside down in order to make money.

Lol, infact all civil servants in Nigeria are all underpaid. Is their any of them earning 1/3 of politicians hefty salaries, I don't think so. They are all collecting peanuts money as salary, the only people that earns admirably are those that works in a lucrative private companies.

In my country, teachers are under paid too. But this l don't always understand why the government place low value on the basic and secondary teachers even though they are the people that play a lot of disciplinary role in student's educational span. However, it seems the lectures receive much more valuable salary than the the basic school teachers.

In my country, education workers are the lowest paid. From primary education to higher level. Then comes the staff who work in public hospitals. It is a shame that the people who teach us and lead us to be professionals are not valued in most countries, and in the case of my country those people who take care of us and give us relief in an illness

Teachers are the most underpaid workers in my country especially private school teachers. This is very sad because teachers are just as important as doctors and engineers who earn more. Teachers deserve better but that is how it is in my country.

Concerning the most unpaid profession in my country. Well, without doubt, the teaching profession in my country is the most unpaid profession in my country. The teachers are so underrated in my country with little pay

Yeah I totally agree with you that teachers are the most underrated and underpaid profession in my country.Teachers are been paid peanuts as salary, the worst is the teachers that work in the public schools. The only people that earns admirably are those that works in a lucrative private companies.

Some of the under pay profession in my country are as follows:
Teaching
Tailoring
Shoe maker
Security
Civil servant job
Police
Etc

The most underpaid profession in my country is teacher, they are definitely not getting even 60% of the value they, some schools pay as low as $60. The only teachers that are getting at least a fair pay are Lecturers, even this fair pay they are getting is as a result of the constant strike they embark on.

I come from Nigeria and unfortunately the most underpaid profession in my country is teaching (Basic and high school teachers). It's so sad that this is the case for teachers in my country.

In my country, lots of professions are underpaid and that makes some of them to indulge in fraudulent activities to try and make both ends meet. Notably among the underpaid professions are nursery, primary and secondary school teachers, security personnels, health workers, bank tellers, etc.

I agree with you that the teacher does not really have the position that should be. Although any doctor and engineer bring him to this place involves a lot of work of teachers, but no one has ever thought about doing good about the teachers. As I belong to Pakistan and here, government Schools and College teachers take good income, whether they perform their duties or not, the government will pay them, but it does not happen in private school, they also perform their duties well and they get less salary... But I think the salary should be equal in both cases for teachers. You agree with my point..?

It is a sad fact that doctors here are leaving for greener pastures abroad. After studying for 10 years and doing a residency in the hospital for 2 years the doctor is one of the most underpaid in the government hospitals. Doctors are in the same situation as the public school teachers whose salary range are low. When my brother's eldest daughter went to medical school, I was really against it. Now she is a specialist in ob-gyne medicine and nearing 50 with no family because all her young life was dedicated to medicine.

The under paid profession in my country is teaching profession. A lot of teachers work over here and earn peanuts as monthly salary. The sad part of this is that the private schools hiring this teachers get high school fees from the students and bank on the rate of unemployment in the country to pay teachers low salary.

Your question is really funny to be very serious, well there are a lot of underpaid work in my community example of such one are private security men, farmers, they are too numerous to mention some i do not even remember to mention it now,ley me wait to hear what other people will say, I'm still following
