Never start a business for the sole purpose of making money, this is the quickest way to drive away potential customers and/or get burnt out.

Also, don't put so much pressure on yourself to matter to the world. You don't have to change the world (not right away). Just focus on a need and find out how to fill that void.

This is a good way to think if you start any business, but the reality is not so.

For so many entrepreneurs, the motivating factor when starting a business is money.

What one should do is to also choose something that you're passionate about, something that adds value to the people.

If you start a business don't just consider making money alone, you must have passion for whatever you do because it is the passion that will help to sustain your business.

Ina a much profit should be the primary motive of starting a buinsess, it should not the the driven factor. Like the poster said, there should be also driven factors apart from making money. This will attract customers and investors easily.

No matter how determined and passion on is for starting a business, the end goal or aim is always to make profit. So in simple terms, if you are not averagely self sustainable when starting out, I would say you look for something that cost little capiatl but with daily , weekly or monthly returns guarateed no matter how little( Edibles) .This you can use as a stop gap before your main business break-even. Otherwise without a support system, starting a new business can drive you off before you reach its potentials.

Yes dear I am agree with you, a clear straightforward and creative mind is very necessary for the development of a business.
Every person must have clear idea & Planning in his clear mind to promote his business even in worst conditions.

In order to drive success through business one needs to develop the right mindset of succeeding in his or her business course. We don't start a business because we have seen friends and other family members succeeding in their respective businesses. We start a business with the right mindset and knowledge about the business.

Having the rigjt mindset in business is paramount to success and profits.

Trust me it is going to be diificult initially and if you do not have the right and positive mindset, you might give up on your business.

So prepare your mind for challenges and find a way to succeed.

I can't agree less with you. You make mention of * worst conditions* which distract most entrepreneur because their business plans aren't flexible enough to thrive during such period. When planing a business we all should ensure our plans are flexible and can easily adjust during trying times. 100% of businesses out dere thriving during this pandemic period must have adjusted their plans to thrive. Also, creating rooms for improvement will always edge your business.

Metal preparation is very essential, not only in business, but in everything thing we do. It is said that tough time never last but tough people do, the reason is that they are mentally strong. Starting a business is like taking a flight, you will experience turbulence as time goes on, when matter arise feeble ones crumbles only people with strong and calm mind scale through. There are some books that helps somekne build a strong mindset, one of such is success principle by Jack Canfield.

Very true. We all know the end goal is to make profit, but most self acclaimed guru and newbie don't realize that some factors determine the actual profit realized at the end of the month.
Most entrepreneurs start with the mindset of making profit, thereby having the urge to create substandard goods and/or unprofessional services for quick bucks. At first they will make the quick bucks, but they will end up losing the customer and possible referral from such customer. With the advent of online review such as trustpilot, the days of such businesses are numbered.

Yes, when you have the right mindset towards your business, the situation will always move well for you.

If you have a negative mindset of things always going wrong, then your business will go wrong too. Therefore, after capital to start up a business, positive Mindset comes next .

Great advice you have there, this is a common mistake many make. They believe that once they start something, they should be raking in millions in the next few days. So they end up feeling dejected when they experience a setback. It is good to be optimistic and hope for the best, but at the same time, we need to be realistic. There are times when things don't go as planned, do we have the resilience to go on notwithstanding?

For the success of every business the business manager must be mentally prepared that is must be mentally okay. Such a person must be fit to handle the business and control business to facilitate the effective growth of the business.

It is true that one doesn't need to work out himself to be popular or struggle too much for making profit.
The first aim of any business person should be the impact of the product or services to the society. Not the profit.

A man's mental satisfaction for doing a business having much importance. If he is mentally not satisfying the can't be able to run his business successfully. So, he must be mentally satisfied.

It is true. The purpose of business should not only be to earn lots of money but also serve people. If you start a business, lots of people depends on yo as an employee. Don't forget to be kind with them and try to fulfil their needs too while earning money o fulfill your own requirements.

Attitude is everything. A negative attitude decreases success and a positive attitude creates success. Without that belief in yourself, you'll lack a path to success. Success is something that's created. It's not something that merely "happens.” When you firmly believe in yourself, you can achieve virtually anything: It's within this belief that you'll find the power to create the resilience and fortitude needed to keep going when things get tough.

The essence of venturing into any business is to make money so I don’t agree with your first point. However it’s very much advisable to not put much pressure on oneself but you should always push yourself to do better. The most important points are self discipline and determination. Most businesses nowadays folds up because of financial mismanagement and it’s a typical act of indiscipline. Also it’s not always rosy at the beginning so you’ve to be determined and have perseverance in order to attain success

Yes you're right, the mindset one must have towards a business must not be solely based on profit making, you should consider the customers and make sure you provide the possible best for your customers
