thanks so much for the enlightenment, in previous times, I have always thought that both are same not knowing that there are clear differences between them, now I understand the full differences between them, I can always engage in both investments and businesses at same time to enable multiple income.

Investment is the commitment of money to buy financial instruments or properties in order to make profits either in monthly or quarterly. Investment is simply putting your money in the hands of another person to do their business or whatever they want to do.

business is the heart or it is a marketing in which you produce goods or services for people to patronize you and in turn they pay you with money but the investment is the house in which put in a certain amount of money in a trusted company or organisation for them to use it for a particular business and pay you a certain amount of percentage monthly or yearly.

In my own understanding, business involves buying and selling of goods to make profit or rendering services to people. Business is always short time profit.
While investment deals with putting some certain to generate more within long period of time.

Investment can b in a business, seeing as if you put a particular amount of cash into it you are going to make money on or from it, provided the conditions are right. I think business and investment are closely related.

This is really a tricky question because the both relate with each other. You cannot talk about one without including the other. Business is when you own and run an establishment that brings in profit from time to time. While Investment is putting in your savings in other people's establishments, which brings in money either monthly, or biannually or yearly according to your agreement.
