Know the Difference between Investment and Business

The definition of business and investment may seem different. But, I think business is also an investment because money and effort is being put into the business to bring in profit. The income/profit is the capital and return on the investment.

For more clarification, I believe with business, you have to be actively involve. Your money is not just enough, you have to work to earn. While in investment, you are passively involve. Your money does the work for you.

I would say the terms of investment and Business may different but they are almost the same. According to your definition above show that investment is a part/type of business because anything you use a money to buy or put money in to with aim of to be getting return of the money from it either by daily, weekly, monthly or yearly income is a business.

The only difference I know in order to explain investment versus business is the work. In investment you deposit your money to the scheme or program and wait for the value to increase. You do not have to do anything. In business it is an endeavor that can give you profit provided you will do the work that is needed. Even just being a business owner you still have to do some work no matter how little.

I don't think there much difference between investment and business but according to my own experience investment is a money being deposited for profit making while business is the act of buying and selling of goods and services
