To summarize, investment might give more time freedom than business that just started as some business become investment after the owner must have been running it to a significant place.

Business is a boarder term, it can mean a lot of things. Investment is also a business. The only difference between investment and business is related to management. Investor is not involved with business management.

I completely agree with you that business is a broader term of all ventures that gives profit in any way so investment is a category under business whereby one will just put his or her money into a business to generate profit or returns for them.

Investment is putting a particular amount of money in another business that might not actually be yours, and expecting to earn an increase in the original capital invested during a particular period of time. And in some cases, you might not get your capital back. Then business is something you do, it could be a hand work such as your skills to earn profit.

This may not really be a business because investment is investing, sometimes people might consider investment as a business but this might not be true, people can invest and still do another business at the same time.

If you are an investor you might have to establish a company to mange your investment and finance, When you have established a company, you are already business.

Investment and business both carry the same meaning most of the time because they are mostly used interchangeably by people. Both end up in attempting to make profits

Business is when people are working for you, while investment is when your money is working for you. Check our profile signature for an investment under a Government licensed, regulated, monitored and audited financial firm where your money can work for you. Our target is an average of 10%+ monthly return to investors after performance fees.

You're a slight difference between investment and business because to me I understand that every business is an investment but not every investment is good business.

You are definitely correct in this your explanation of what a business is and also the way you distinguish it from an investment. Sometimes investment is actually the best way for someone to become rich as most of this time your money works for you instead of you making use of your energy to make money as in the case of a business.

The definition of business and investment may seem different. But, I think business is also an investment because money and effort is being put into the business to bring in profit. The income/profit is the capital and return on the investment.
Well to an extent, you can put it that way, however, in a business you engage in providing goods and services and get paid while in an investment, you establish a project and the money keeps flowing in.

There is a big difference between business and investment in that business has to do with any activities that involves exchange of goods and services at a profit why investment is used to refer to the heart of you putting your money into a business or a platform whereby your money will be working for you and give you profit.

Actually the two works in hand together but they are different income is the total earnings you earn at a time of pay and profits is the gain or an extra money or earnings that come with the income you made or receive.

Investment and business are two different if we care to understand because investment is all about buying or putting your capital into something that will bring you profits after a period of time, while business is all providing goods and services in other to make money .

Business and investment are related but the only difference is that in investment you can make money passively while in business you have to be active in order to make money.

I think that you have just explained it in the best way forward . you just have to have money then put it somewhere as an investment but in business its different.

A business that one does is an investment in itself. So, the name investment and business to me are two words that mean the same thing at certain instances and slightly different at some instances

The difference between investment and business is that business might require your presence and attention to run it while investment might not necessarily require your presence

Investment is an income planning scheme where a person saves money for the raining days. Investment is the commitment of money to buy financial instruments or properties in order to make profits either in monthly or quarterly. While business is an organization that provides products and services to people so as to benefit from it.
I like your line of thought. These two are dangerously close to each other in meaning. Because from their definition, a business can be a form of investment and vise versa. This makes it even confusing. But i would say a business sound more like an entity while investment is some kind of a driver.
