Investment has to do with shares and stocks. Business is based on production, buying a selling to make profit instantaneously most of the time.

Yeah, very wise enlightenment. Investment as I have always said is putting money on assets or properties and expecting a higher return. Investment can give you financial freedom if it turns out good and you don't need to do much work to make money.

To know the difference we have to explain what investment and business is. First let’s take investment and ask Wikipedia for the definition. Investment is the commitment of money or capital to purchase financial instruments or other assets in order to gain profitable returns in form of interest, income, or appreciation of the value of the instrument.

Whew. Alright how about we talk that in English. Investment is just placing cash in something in the expectation of making a benefit later on. You can invest in numerous things, such countless examples of ventures like land, real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, forex, and so forth....

What is business: A business is an association or organization that provides products and services and makes benefit subsequently. We have internet business, retail (buy&sell) business and other examples of business.
I like your definition of business and investment. One can say in summary that, in investment your money is working for you while in business, you are doing the work yourself. Sometimes, an investment income is fix while business profit is hardly fix

I think investment is a scheme where you put your money into and get something at the end of it, its like sending your money to do business for you, while a business is something you execute yourself.

There is a difference between investment and business. When it comes to investment, you are not necessarily in charge of all the operations in the business you invested. When it comes to running a business, you hold the charge and become responsible for all the operations carried out in the business you invested.

However, even buying stocks or corporate bonds is an investment in a business; with stocks you buy shares of a company, and with corporate.

Investment in stock market is a kind of market and we cannot technically say that we run that "business" because we have nothing to do with business operations that are being carried out in the stock market. So that's investement. If you buy a shop and sell products to general public, then that's what I call "operational business". That's the difference between investment nd busines.

From those point of yours can we then deduce that a business is part of investment because you invest money into a business hoping to make a higher returns

Business is the act of buying and selling of goods and services for the purpose of making profit while investment is putting back money into an asset with the intention of increasing the value

A business is a form of investment. Whatever you devote time energy and resources into hoping to make gain or to get an increased value is an investment

The fund and capital a person put into any venture is an investment for profit making is geared towards pushing forward a business activity.
We need investment for business activity to thrive
Yeah we need investment because i have never seen any business thrive without the existence or presence of investment it hardly happens

Business is a situation when one is involved in one transaction or the other for the intention of making profit while investing is putting money in something hoping to increase the value

Investments are more of future savings. Things that would generate revenue for you even in years to come, unlike business where you only earn for a while. Investments are better.

The definition of business and investment may seem different. But, I think business is also an investment because money and effort is being put into the business to bring in profit. The income/profit is the capital and return on the investment.
In my won understanding, investment is when when someone releases his/her money or valuables out with the hope of making some profits after a particular period of time while business demands the personal involvement in the activities.

To me this are two similar word which both need you to commute some money in anticipation of future profit or benefit. business are actively involved in managing while investment you are passively involved.

Concerning knowing the difference between investment and business. Well, investment and business are kind of similar in some cases, we make investment by venturing into a business in oder to make money, either running a business or an investment scheme, the goal is to make more money

Investment means you put your money on something that will generate you profits, where as business means you put money on something and you work hard to make your money work

Business and investment are indeed totally different like you have identified in your post investment involves buying of shares ,stocks and bonds. We should learn never to confuse investment for business.

Investments and business business are both related and have been used several times to mean the same thing. Investment is putting your money on something to expect benefits or profits at a later date while business is an exchange of goods and services for money.

Investment is a long incurring of money into a thing. With the motive gaining return at the long run. While business is putting capital into a business whereby one gain return on a daily basis. From transaction and exchange. Investing could be on cryptocurrency, property, gold etc while business could be on anything.
These are two different things that are tending toward the same purposes. Investment the act of incurring some amount of money into a particular venture with hope hope of making a profit within a particular period of time while business the act of establishing a venture and manage it personally.

I think the two almost the same thing because investment is the source of getting income, while business is almost the same thing too so both of them are like the same.
