Keep posting new content, every day!

Imagine that you're at work and you receive a call to attend a meeting. You show up at the designated location, only to find out that no one else is present. You leave, thinking it was just a mistake. The next day, you receive another call to the same meeting, but once again, there's nobody there. How many times would you keep attending the meeting before giving up altogether? The same principle applies to website visitors. If they visit your website and find no fresh content, they'll likely leave. This is especially true for community websites.

I see this all the time on many forums. The post count barely goes up. What's even worse is that the admin and staff team's post count doesn't increase. If you as an admin won't post, why do you even think your members will?

Community websites depend on constant communication and interaction. Without them, there's no community at all. If you're starting a new community with only a few members, you have to take the lead and generate fresh content yourself. Consider the last forum you visited. Did you become a member? You probably took into account the number of existing members, but you also likely considered how many new posts there were and how old the existing ones were. Nobody wants to join a forum only to talk to themselves.

When starting a website, it's crucial that you take the initiative to create new posts or threads if no one else is doing it. Whether it's a forum or a blog, you need to make sure that there's fresh content posted at least once a day. Some bloggers even submit new articles three or four times daily. This ensures that users always have new content to read, which encourages them to come back to your website again and again. This is vital if you want to build a strong community.

Starting a community website from scratch is extremely challenging and requires a lot of hard work. To succeed, you must post fresh content every day. As your community grows, you'll be able to take a back seat when it comes to content creation. But until then, it's all up to you. So if you want to succeed, start generating content!

So, what do you do to keep new content coming in? Do you have trouble finding subjects to post about? Maybe you have chosen the wrong niche? Or is it a lack of time that doesn't let you post new content?
