Is there a difference in corruption, if privately done and not in the government?

The number enemy of the economy is corruption. The economy driven by corrupt leaders is definitely going to crumble. It will never be successful .

The real enemy of the country is corruption and it has eaten deeply into the heart of almost every politician throughout the country ,and the country cannot grow with corrupt leaders in government.

The corruption level in Nigeria is overwhelming and it is definitely eating deep into the success of the country. We have lots of corrupt leaders in key positions.

In our society, stealing the fiumds of the government is taken as a norm. Everyone believes its a national cake and if you are lucky to be in government, it's your turn to have your own share if the cake.

The most annoying thing about corruption is that it is always going to affect one person or a group of people and as such it should be discouraged even if it is going to be done privately because somebody is definitely going to be affected.

There is absolutely no difference in the corruption done on the privately owned institution and the government. I think the punishment for both will be the same.

Under normal circumstances there shouldn't be a difference between corruption done in the public places and in the private places but in my home country, the government usually go scot-free.
