How's the weather today?

It has been raining on and off all day today and has been quite chilly, you wouldn't think we were in July and it was summer at the moment in the UK.

Hoping the weather picks up before the kids finish for the summer.

Been putting off firing up the weedeater for most of the day because of pop-up storms around us. They finally start clearing up... go out and get started and about 1/2 through I hear a loud crack of thunder from behind me and turn around and look... nice dark clouds coming on like a freight train. By the time I could get the equipment back in the shed the temperature had dropped several degrees and the heavy rain cut loose. Rained just long enough to get the grass nice and wet so that you can't get a clean cut... so now sitting playing some Halo 4.

It's currently 89 degrees but it feels like 95. You know, I complain about the summer but so far we've had a pretty mild one here. Though I have a feeling August might bring back those triple digits, and come Monday when it's supposed to be 96 it'll probably feel like it's in the 100s..

It's been another cloudy day here in England, UK with some rain but it's feeling humid.

I am hoping for the rain to go and we get some sunshine again.

Today was awful, with the heat index it was about 111 degrees outside which means it was probably about 115 or more inside my work. I was hoping they would let us go home early but nope, they just told us to drink water...

We got lots of rain here, in fact it was kind of funny I checked the radar before I left for work and it said all the rain was in Illinois, 10 minutes later and it starts pouring. We had flash flood warnings here, and local roads were flooded. Thankfully it was all cleared up by the time I got off work.

Just came in from mowing part of the yard. It's only 79°, but the dewpoint is also 79°... so in other words, I'm as wet with sweat as if I had gotten hosed down by the water hose. To top it off the mower kept lugging down in the higher grass because the dew was so heavy on the grass. But it had to be mowed because the older furbies don't like grass rubbing their tummies whe they go outside and they are low riders.

It's much cooler than it was early last week. It's 80 degrees and it's overcast, so it doesn't feel quite that bad out today! Plus there's a light breeze, and it's not humid. Unusual for the month of July, but I'll take it for now!

The thunderstorms are randomly hitting our area. It rains hard for a while, and then the sun is out the next moment.

We have some cloud today but it's humid and quite warm again. I was happy as it did cool down somewhat yesterday which was nice and refreshing but now we are back to a humid sticky heat.

It got up to about 82 degrees today so not as hot as it has been, but it was humid so it sucked IMO. I can't wait to be done with Summer lol.

It is sunny and very humid today, we are in the middle of a small heatwave at the moment that is not great to be in with a fever.
