Staff Management How do you seek for your staff members?

If you're interested in hiring staff members in your forum, what is the means which is better to seek them out?

Do you send a mass email to all your forum members informing them of the staff position opportunity or do you create a thread asking those who are interested to apply through the channel which have created for the employment?

At the beginning I reach out to people I know. If it's after opening, I reach out to a few great members that I think may want the position or I can see potential. Sometimes it's easier to reach out to the masses as a notification and let people apply because you never know what great diamonds you have until you give them a chance!
