I think their achievements and impact on a business or organization can be used to measure their efficiency better than any other way

This can only be measured by the results or do i say out put of the employee as touching his job. So in most cases we might assign some task and evaluate their performances based on those task that will be time bound. All this and many more can be used as appraisal.
Employees can measure the impact of their workers to their workers output this will enable you to know whether the worker is effectively working or not.

Measure employee effectiveness based on their contribution, instead of how many hours per day they need to work to complete their tasks, by that same token, if you find that your employees are getting all their work done in an hour or two per day
We have two types of employee, one is those who work effectively without looking at the time before getting their work done while the second one are the employee that always looks at the time before working and getting work done.

Measuring your employees’ effectiveness and productivity is an important part of managing a team, and ensures your organisation is running optimally.

Some roles are easier than others to evaluate, eg fundraising roles usually have quantifiable targets to hit and the effectiveness of these employees is largely based on performance against these goals. However, it can be much more difficult and more subjective, to evaluate the performance of other employees, eg support staff.

Managers in the past have heavily relied on being physically present with their team members and in that, having the ability to ‘see’ or ‘experience’ the productivity levels of their staff. This year we have been faced with the inability to do this in the same way and as such we potentially need to rely on the metrics more than we have before. I would add however that measuring productivity and effectiveness during the pandemic could be more complex and managers should consider taking into account the personal circumstances and working conditions for each individual. Everyone has had to adapt to a new way of working.

The best way an employee can measure the impact of his work is to be able to see how effective is department as contribute to the organisation and the effectiveness and productivity of his individual work

It is even a good thing to do to constantly try to measure the impact of what you do to an organization. You should compare your work hours with what is obtainable in other places

I think this is the best way to measure the impacts of employees in an organization. You will have to consider the level of progress of each employees in a particular department.

I agree, if it was done the way you describe in your thread, you find out that people don't need to come to work every day. While in other places of work it isn't like that.

Employers who value their company or business will like to reward their employee who is working very hard in company, is good to reward them.

Employers who are serious about their business always find out ways to reward their employees that are working hard to move the business forward. Employees will be well aware that they are adding value to the company when they receive bonuses, increase in salary or other form of compensation to reward them for their services to the business
Yes definitely they do reward the employees to booster the morale in them that as been set down by doing this alot of values are been added. Yeah increase in salary, allowances are part of the bonuses.

whenever you're working for a company and Industry as a work are you you always have an output of work do you do in a day and it's what you're definitely going to use to measure your work

The impacts of the work of an employee can be measured collectively by the output or the progress of the organisation when the organisation has a high output then we can see that the employees are really giving a good impact to that organisation.

When I was a computer programmer our weekly report is not difficult because my job is about the number of programs that I do - the creation and revision that included the testing and debugging. We also included the number of lines in the coding so the evaluation is easy with the tangible data.

Any business organisation or business set up or a company that wants to see its staff do well and give their best to the business always find a way to treat their staff well.

You will measure the level of impact of your job by the numbers of products that you produce in line with the amounts of products demanded by your customers which shows acceptance of your business.

Employees measure the impact of their work with the numbers of client and also how they have been able to improve the organisation ever since they started working with them.

Well, in my opinion if the company is having increased sales as a result of the good impact the workers are investing with their time and energy in the company's work, it's a good sign.

Especially when goals are more about quality, ‘management by objectives’ works well. Using this employee performance measurement technique means you should sit down with your team members and set goals.
