Have you ever been made to feel uncomfortable on a forum?

Yeah, I have once had that feeling. It was actually a paid to post site but the word count is just too much for me and am a kind of person who loves to go straight to the point and leave.

This has happened to me a couple of times and on one occasion I didn't go back because I felt I was being bullied. The second time was just an argument with a fellow forum member (all good now) so I took a break and then went back. However I felt very uncomfortable almost as bad as if had happened in the real world. Has this happened to you? How did you deal with it?
There's a forum I'm a member of don't get me wrong it's a wonderful site and I've learned and benefited a lot from the forum but what I'm not comfortable with on the forum is that Christian's are not allowed to comment on Muslim threads but Muslims are free to comment on

Such thing have happened to me before and what I do is that I will actually leave the forum and choose a better place to pass the information I want to pass

Not at all it hasn't happened, but I've experienced it happen to other people and it's really not a good feeling, sorry about what you went through .
Well as for me it has happened to me on several occasions where I registered on this website known as their money forum.com what actually made me feel uncomfortable in the group works when the admin actually message me personally to tell me that and should only comment on topics that I have actually had personal experience for me and that I should not comment on any topic that I do not have personal experience on.

I have been posting on forums for a very long time now and I have never been made to feel uncomfortable before as I normally like the atmosphere.

Not really uncomfortable but the closest have been to that was when I worked on a forum and got banned in turn losing my earnings to flimsy and unjust reason, so it was definitely uncomfortable

Yes, this happened to me. Internet can play a huge role when it comes to psychology. Internet has psychological effects. The people you interact with can have a huge impact on your mental health. However, people in here on Bizdustry have always been kind to me.

I have never been made uncomfortable on any forum. Personally I like to avoid confrontations and disagreements so I stay away from topics that could bring up such things.

Yes and most especially when people seem to make you feel your opinion was the worst opinion you ever contributed or made you feel you were not wanted in that forum

It is actually painful to spend your energy, time and resources on the forum only to discover at the end of the day that your efforts I have gone down the drain

I also stay away from anything that can bring arguments. That is why I have never felt uncomfortable in any forums. Even when I am confronted by someone who wants to argue, I just don't reply.

The only person in a forum that can actually make me feel u comfortable is the admin, if I have been working on the forum day and night and the admin keep acting like I am some kind of trash or something, I will immediately leave the forum.

Having an argument with members in forum I never had the experience, so the only challenge I had was I will refer people and they will not accept it is not cool

Yes! When you need assistance or opinions from other people and someone refers you to make use of the search engine. I find this as bullying because atimes it's not all opinions that you get from Google.

It has never happen to me before. But nevertheless, it can happen and it won't be a big deal. But bullying in a forum shouldn't be acceptable and should be totally abolished

I was once misunderstood on a forum. I got dragged for something I never meant. It's was later sorted out. But that moment I felt uncomfortable

There are some foruns where people make posts to gain Knowledge and seek advice but you see kids posting trash and it's really disgusting

have not participated on a lot of forums. I am on just two forums, this one and Bizdustry. Forum posting is my recently discovered earning opportunity. So far, I have not been made to feel uncomfortable in the forums I participate.

Well I know that in some open or loosed forum so persons use foul languages and just pick on someone without any cogent reason
