Have you ever been made to feel uncomfortable on a forum?

This can only happen in forum website that they have no rules and regulations like Nairaland forum. When the admins there are not concerned about what users there post. Then things like that will always occur. Maybe that is the reason why Google Adsense has rejected Nairaland forum.

I have been with forum so you long time now and I actually like the environment and the way people interact. I have never been made to feel uncomfortable in any way in any forum before.

Anyone been made to feel uncomfortable or mocked at in any social forum is been subjected to what we call cyber bullying. This is a very wrong behaviour that must be stoped

I have been made to feel uncomfortable on my offline part time jobs previously, but nothing of that sort on my online work.
I have been made to feel uncomfortable in just one forum sites where i was been attacked and my earning was been removed everyday for 5days while I keep working hard, but unfortunately I had to leave the site to get a better paying site. Because I know the admin was just using the likes of me to increase his traffic.

This has happened to me a couple of times and on one occasion I didn't go back because I felt I was being bullied. The second time was just an argument with a fellow forum member (all good now) so I took a break and then went back. However I felt very uncomfortable almost as bad as if had happened in the real world. Has this happened to you? How did you deal with it?
Just don't mind them if you feel you are bullied.

What is important at the end of the day you earn and you expressed yourself.

Not at all it hasn't happened, but I've experienced it happen to other people and it's really not a good feeling, sorry about what you went through .
it happens, depends on the type of members that exist in a forum, but i have been through some forums where some members seemed to be "bullying" or so toxic
I have said some situations in a website known as their money forum.com that has made me very uncomfortable with that website that was when I joined the website and I posted and commented on a website for a very long time but when I got to the payment threshold how was band just when I requested for my payment.

I think this should be an example of "cyberbullying" - which is present in almost every social community; I've learnt to develop a thick skin though, I just do my thing and nor respond. I do not respond to everything tho

I've had a downtime with the so known as Mr B of BMF.com. I become completely aggravated on the movements he took over my account on his forum. It simply befell to me, like while a person i labored for denied me all i earned. Up until now, I'm nonetheless reeling over that red meat i had with him.

I have not participated on a lot of forums. I am on just two forums, this one and Bizdustry. Forum posting is my recently discovered earning opportunity. So far, I have not been made to feel uncomfortable in the forums I participate.
You participating in just two online forum means you are new with online earnings , I beleive you do a lot of research before you decided to start working online.

I have been earning money through posting on forums for a long time now and really I really love the calibre of people that I have a meeting and none of them has ever made me to feel uncomfortable.

I have never felt uncomfortable in any forum. I understand that some people do not understand the concept of someone having the right to a particular way of reasoning, they will want to make it look as though you don't know what you are saying.

Yes I have been made to feel that way many a time. But all I do is to simply ignore the person making such morckery and continue with my activity of adding value as I can on such platforms

Not all it never happen to me or have such experience in forum because it is very bad for someone to make you uncomfortable, is not good at all.

When a mod is doing that you cannot continue ignoring. I left a forum when the mod and his cohorts were bullying me. They were jealous of my posts and probably wanted to control me.

Yeah there are forums i fell uncomfortable with them because I'm suspicious of the activities so i post i thread about it and they banned me from the site.

Yes most times people can make you feel uncomfortable in a particular form when they began to cool to you negatively of what you said or your opinion.

Yeah that's something that very much happens. Some forums don't just follow their rules. I think before a person joins a forum you are required to agree to the terms and conditions for stop even when other people bully you or throw tantrums at you members of the administrative team and willing to take the matter into consideration. This can be very uncomfortable and annoying.

I believe the owner of all the forum sites and other sites are against bullying in any way, and you will be banned if caught doing so, so i don't think there's a way a member can bully other member and go scot free.
The one who started the thread left the site, I don't know if she was banned or she left by her own. Most of the legit sites are against such bullying.

When one is in a public forum like this very one for instance and you're constantly been made to feel very uncomfortable y certain elements in that forum, it is termed or called cyber bullying. It is a crime as far as I'm concerned for papetrators doing this

I have never experienced such issues in a forum, all I do is schedule my time so I can comment well and make my points, that's all, I make sure I relate and respect other members.
