Has anyone who previously worked for you hijacked your site?

Yes as degrading as it may seem. My business partner kicked me out and changed every setting on the domain we shared.

Ol!! A kind of situation like that won't be funny at all. Foe someone wgo has been member of my staff to hijack my business? I have never experienced any of such thing like that before actually

This is a funny story😆😆, for the guy to have changed the admin passwords and turned it into a porn site, he must have really hated your boss to the guts. Has this happened to me, the answer is NO

For someone who worked for you in the past to put himself or herself through the stress of hacking and hijacking your website means that there is a very big misunderstanding and bad blood between you two. I'd look for ways to settle and have my website given back to me.

It is very necessary to put security measures in place inorder to protect your website. If you hired a staffs that knows all your details, you could as well change them when he is no longer in your company.

I have never owned a site online. But I've seen many cases where by people's social media accounts were hacked for no good reason.

I don't think people can hijack your site unless you have given them access to your cpanel and domain registrar account. Just by accessing your website dashboard, no one can hijack your site.

Seriously, that is why I do prefer working or handling my things myself. People can not be fully trusted no matter the years of friendship or mutual relationship. And if it happens to me, the person won't go scot free.
The reason whyi havent started my own site is because i still lack in some ways and i dont know how to go about it, I can never leave my site in the hands or care of another person,

This is a very strange one. It will be very bad an act to have worked for someone to end up hijacking the person's site. That's robbery. No one has ever done that to me that has worked on my site

No, nobody has tried to hack or hijack my site. Honestly, i don't own any site. I wouldn't want to find my self in that situation when i finally decide to own a site, it would be really hurtful.

Well it hasn't happened to me maybe because I always tend to keep at arm's length when it comes to some kind of personal affairs concerning business.
That has seemed to always do the trick for me.

This has never happened to me in the past because i have never developed a website to the extent where i had to hire people in to assist me with teh site however i think that in the future if i do have to do this that i woudl need to be extra careful.

Anyone who works for you and comeback to hijack your site is capable of killing you, in that case the person should be sued so that he would pay for damages.

I have not witnessed a friend hijacky my website from me but based on the narratives that you made in your thread, it is very possible to avoid such mistakes by changing the password to the website immediately the staff was sacked

Hijacking as the owner site as an admin is the worst and ungreatful attitudenif betrayer I have ever seen, I believe as a co-worker If you lob the site, why didn't you just ask the admin to sell to you or rather implore him to help you create your own site,

Well, this is also one of the biggest reasons why you must be careful before hiring someone when it comes to managing your site. Hacking is bad and this happened to someone I know.

I know that at a time as your website is growing they will be need to hire people to help you updating your website. But, I cannot allow anybody an access to my website admin dashboard. I can't revealed my website password to people. It's too risky, in my own opinion. I can hire people to write articles for me, carry out seo audits for me but to give them an access my website admin dashboard, never!

There are mischievous people all over the internet and will need to be careful about them. You also need to be careful the kind of people your partner with in managing your website because some people can be evil.

Well, some people might become angry and in return they might do bad things to your website. Apart from that, I do not think that your website could necessarily get hacked by a former member. Even your competitors could also hijack your website.

Yes, I know. Competitors always try as much as possible to do bad things to your website. This has also been experienced in several paid to post forums.
