Ever deal with site hackers who hijack your site?

Okay what's the time in which some setting information from my company were stolen. It was a Ransome ware attack. This is why it is important that you should always have double back up.
I think it is always important and necessary to have a backup in case anything happens to your website. It is one of the mistakes some people make and they end up losing every data on the website.

Absolutely I think nothing can really be done when your site or account has been hacked. and I believe it's no more a new thing to those working on the internet due to lack of central control.

I think something can actually be done because I have witnessed a local forum in his part of the world being hacked but it was restored. this is why it is important as a website owner to have knowledge of web development.

This should be expected if your site is doing well. First they clone and then try to take ownership of the site; that's why it's advisable to have constant updated security measures to combat these internet terrorists.

Actually alot of people most often do talk about site been hack, pages, platform or even social media accounts hack but I have never heard anyone talking about recovering it so I believe it's difficult to recover when it has been hack you just have to try you best to secure it.

it is not difficult to recover your site, except your hosting provider is not from a trusted source, you can always recover your site and the things that are been stored on your site as well.

Has there ever been a time where a hacker hijacked your site? Maybe they tried to get money out of you in order to let it go. I've thankfully never dealt with hackers like that, but I know people who have. Sometimes they would outright delete the site/forum. All posts, content, etc. A forum I used to be a member of, was hacked a few times, to the point where the hackers altered everything on the site.

Has this sort of thing happened to you?
Since numerous users and viewers frequently utilize your website, it is imperative to have a backup or a two-factor authentication scheme operational in order to guarantee the safety of your page.

Yeah, constantly updating the security of your website is always important and necessary in order to protect it. It is also important to employ people who are much knowledgeable if you're not.

The issue with online stuff is that it has no central control that you may even report some illegal act to. alot of people have been hacked and account hijack and nothing absolutely can be done about it. you just exercise patience with.

There's always central controls - that's why every site has a cPanel where you as the administrator make changes as you deem fit. The only thing as others have said is to constantly update your security plugins or system.

updating just your security plugin is not enough but you should try not to be as victim of phishing scam, by clicking on every link you see on the internet as that might jeopardize your security information.

Actually as we all knows, online is filled up with alot of uncertainties and I believe havkings of account is one of the problem of online operation or business and it can not be easily avoided.

No, i've never had to deal with site hackers as i don't even own a website to begin with. I'm think dealing with sites hackers would be really frustrating.

Exactly my thoughts. Hacking isn't something you can completely avoid. The number of frausdters online these days are so much you begin to wonder if the internet really is used for good.

Fortunately, I have never been in this situation but it is essential to show great mental strength and resolve not to give into the monetary demands of the hackers because they will take the money and continue to exploit you

Well I have once had such experience and it was Terrible because it was my life time working effort. but then I have nothing to do about it and that's one of the problem with online, no one to report to.

Hacking is not only synonymous to just website but all things that are sensitive and have a password like your Facebook account, Gmail etc. So this is more like a post for guiding yourself.

Yeah, that's actually how the online space works. The online space is filled with freedom and you have to protect yourself and your business by taking the necessary steps.

that freedom can come at a very huge price that you would need to pay as you would be exposed to a lot of vices on the online space that can harm you if you do not guard yourself
