You can deal with spambot by using a program called anti spambot. Anti spambots are designed to keep off spammers from your website or forum.

That would also be a good way to reduce unwanted message except by through sorting files out ànd applications like app moderator are also doing excellent jobs

People do not just understand how undervalued tour site will be with all those annoying spam bots. The beat thing to do is to use captcha to ensure only humans use the site.

To be honest, I never knew what spambot was until now. Of course I knew what spam was. I had to go I do research on spambot and I think you'll find this useful:

  2. Use a double opt-in form. ...
  3. Add a test question to your form. ...
  4. Add an unseen extra field or honey-pot. ...
  5. Block Comment Spam. ...
  6. Implement time-analysis. ...
  7. Hide target request
This information here is spot on to what you want to do with your website or forum with regards to Spam bots. If you follow it to the latter, you will get it done with ease.

Well, in reply to your question in the above post concerning spambots and how to deal with them, well u uave to say that spam bots could be very annoying and stressful to deal with, but with the tips you have given up here, i have to say the will be helpful

Is never an easy dealing with spambot I think best way avoid such to continue viewing the website, you can also use captcha that have pictures to prevent it.

Spam boots can be annoying and they can go a long way in interrupting so many things. I think that is a software for disabling that. Dealing with spambots is not easy but you just have to do it for the future of your side.

Spam bots are very annoying to deal with to be honest. I think the best way to reduce this is by introducing the captacha verification to fish them out and block them.

Dealing with spambots could be annoying sometimes but they are there to check the behaviours of user and to keep them from spamming in a forum. I prefer the use of captcha to others.

Dealing with spambots can be frustrating no doubt and with that frustration comes unproductivity so it's important to know how to get rid of them, usage of captcha is a good way

I own a lot of websites. Spambots cause a lot of problems for me because sometimes I get thousands of comments on my blog posts over night. When I opt for delete all comments, I might delete genuine comments. It becomes bothersome to go through spam comments individually.

Good ideas have been suggested. Captcha would work a great deal or better still ask security questions before they post and fill your site with gibberish; also try to create a community, there'll be a way to identify regular spammers

Captcha is the best to use in this regard. It will help block spambot outrightly. It's the best to use and that's the reason why it's very common. I also recommend the use of manual moderation. This will help you monitor the messages that comes into your site personally.

Your first and second strategy is one I have never heard of before. It gets me wondering how most people figure out this techniques in the first place.

Spambots can actually cause a lot of damage to your website and as such I do not blame the website owners for going this far to ensure they are kept out.

Almost all spam messages are malicious emails sent by unknown sources. These sources could be hackers who aim to hack into the computers of their victims. Never respond to spam messages because through this, the spammer will know that the email address is active and thus, it increases the chance of your email to be constantly targeted by the spammer.

With forums, I would ask users a question at registration where they'd have to tell me the spelling of a word backward. For instance, I might ask, "What is window spelled backward?". Of course, perhaps you could also ask what a backward word is spelled frontward.

Anyway, for blogs, I would just get a good free program to keep spam out.

Well, what do you all do to prevent spam? You better do something, cause they're on the prowl looking to wreck your website!
When it comes to running a website I believe that it's something that you need to have extra hands to help you keep an eye on what's going on on your website which means you have to hire some moderators to help you manage your website in order to keep out any kind of spamming that might come in.

I have never dealt with spambots. However, I have received many e-mails in my inbox that were probably sent by some sort of automated mailing system. I really do not know how they got my mail address.

Well, spambot can be so annoying. It just get into forums and disrupt everything. I believe there are antibot application one can download to get rid of the annoying bot
