Can you date someone who's jobless?

I've seen some men who makes the mistake of getting into a relationship with ladies who are jobless but will have more time to spend on different social media sites like TikTok and Instagram instead of working. There are ladies who date jobless men too but they are few.

I would not try such a thing because it's getting a big liability and heap it upon myself. If you're working or having a skill which you're making your own money from, we won't start a relationship.

Depends on why they're jobless.

If they've recently quit their job or been laid off, but they're actively looking for a new one... then, that's fine.

If they have some kind of disability, that prevents them from holding down a stable job... then, that's fine too.

If they're just too lazy to work, then that's a problem. But I don't think that's representative of most jobless people.

I'm not single, but if I were, there's no way I'd date someone who was jobless...unless he was retired! I'm 56 and some of my peers from school have actually retired which I find astonishing.

I doubt I'd date a man who was jobless. Unless he was independently wealthy or retired. He'd have to have some sort of income stream, since I certainly wouldn't want to pay for everything or stay home all the time. Can't call it dating if you never go out.

I wouldn't say they few men with no jobs have ladies. All they need is some income coming in. However, though, the better the woman is at getting men, then I would think they would discriminate, unless the man is offering something to make up for the money.

I have before. I prefer being with someone who has a good work ethic. If the person you're with is capable of getting and keeping a job, they should. I won't ever get with someone who isn't working no matter how pretty they are. It is for the reason I got tired of taking care of women who didn't want to go out and get a job. It's a drain on money and resources. It takes away from things your kids need.

It depends. If they are jobless because they have recently lost their job and are constantly looking for a new job, then yes I will date them.

If they are someone who is not even bothering to look for a job and expects me to buy everything because they don't have money, then no I wouldn't date them.
