Why are people running from making a living out of farming?

Because of the lifestyle brought by the western world, most people distant themselves from farming because it isn't a government job or a white collar job. One way or the other, we indulge in it but at the lowest level where individuals rare animals.

I have asked my self countless numbers of times why our generation seems to be afraid of farming, it is a very lucrative business with lots of profits on a daily basis, it seems everyone is currently pursuing white collar jobs which is really so pathetic. They see farming as a job for the elderly and the poor.

Most people are running away from farming because farming work as to do with a lot hardworking and also patience before you plant, water it everytime and before you havest what you sow, it will take time. A lot of people can't exercise such, and government of this country is not doing enough to help farmers and people beging to see farmers as people who are suffering before they can even sell what they have. Yet, we are all about cryptocurrency and online businesses. Businesses that does not require the level of activities involved in farming business.
I know that most will agree with me that farming looks like a tough kind of business compared to other sectors, but it also generates revenue like the others. So l would like to know why majority run away from it.

I believe Agriculture is just one way out of the so many ways of making money. There are several other ways.
We can't all go into agriculture you know.
It doesn't just appeal to some people.
While to some other people it means so much.

If you conduct a research you will find that some of the reasons include: lack of interest, lack of resources: finances, farm land, access to farm implements etc
