Why are people running from making a living out of farming?

We all know that farming has to do with activity or business of growing crops and raising livestock. I have come to realize that we hardly discuss about ways to make it in agriculture.
Yet, we are all about cryptocurrency and online businesses. Businesses that does not require the level of activities involved in farming business.
I know that most will agree with me that farming looks like a tough kind of business compared to other sectors, but it also generates revenue like the others. So l would like to know why majority run away from it.

Not everyone wants to work in agriculture, mostly the people love to start their business instead of farming as they find it more comfortable and may also (no offense) low class also. Thats the main reason i think , majiority of people run away from agriculture.

For example like in my country,most learned people or those that have passed through higher institutions doesn't like farming at all and i wonder why because this type of business has a lot of income.
We find that most of them needs to be employed in companies and work in the offices and take farming as a tough work and its done by those who didn't do well in school of which is not true

I don't think that people are running away from farming, but I think that many people prefer to go for other types of businesses because of the large capital and length of time required to invest and profit from farming business.

It's not that people are running away from farming but just that the high cost of maintaining a stable farm as a private individual is too much, if you want to succeed in farming you must have a lot of money which an average individual cannot afford to. It is only government that can afford to maintain a good farming system.

I am a farmer myself and my father is also a farmer I put my personal experience here that farmers are running away from farming because they do not get the right price for the crops.
Growing crops takes a lot of effort and money, but the farmer gets very little profit Governments and stacker make more money than farmers.

Same question you have asked is the same i have always asked myself, food and raw materials would continue to be in demand forever, Youths need to be encouraged to invest in agriculture, the government has to encourage them through provision of lands, tools, machine and finance, by these, there would be a higher development in agriculture.

People are running away from making a farm business because they think that everyone can make a lot of money working for the government or work in the office for a large business. As you can see, they did not understand that the "best" investment is the one you make right now. The explanation for that is that there is a high level of food insecurity around the world.

I think one of the main reasons is because they don't like it or because they want to be in well-dressed offices. But I think the agricultural world is much more lucrative today than many offices. Imagine farming during the dry season without artificial irrigation, the farmer suffer a great deal to make his plants survive. And also create a big cost.

Well in the part of the world where I come from, most people don’t want to do the dirty and lucrative job such as farming and rearing if livestock which are basically Agricultural line. People have the mentality that farming is for the low class and rural communities. The few people that do it in the city don’t even stress themselves they use machines and employ people to run the farm activities on their behalf.

Well, i think it's due to the nature of the work, most people see it as dirty, but I can tell that every work has stress in it. Also, i see farming as an investment, some being short-term and long-term, you have to wait for the time of harvest before making money

The reason is because this generation is not a patience generation at all. Which Agriculture will u do that won't last up to 6 -12 month before u get revenue although the business is what people can't do without but crypto profit is faster compare to agriculture.

Farming is a good business, because it provides food which is very necessary for survival. It require a lot of physical probably that is why many people are not into it, I believe if there is advancement in the technology used in farming to make it easier more people will become interested.
