What's the difference between a successful manager and a failed manager??

The difference between the two is not something much to say but it depends on the ability of the manager to be able to run and perform it's duty effectively. even though some of the successful managers may have defects sometime but so minimal.
Most failed managers do not have or long-term plans for their business so they mostly rely on short-term plans on how they expect the business to perform but for a successful manager or true they mostly have short medium and long-term plans for their business and you will discover that with all this plans in place for the business the business to have a very successful continuity.

I think what differentiate this two person from each other is the fact that the other person might have not be competent and carrying out his daily activities very seriously and he have no time for research in other to promote his business effectively.

I think the major difference between the two lies on which company the public patronizes more frequently. A successful manager would succeed in attracting customers to himself, away from a lesser competitor

Exactly, whenever your company or business is progress and means that the staff and the management is working very well in order to see them succeed but whenever the management is not working very well the failure should all fall on the manager who is not doing his job very well.

A successful manager always set a good example for the company in order for the staff to follow, a successful manager always make a good plan in order for the company to grow.

Exactly, the success and growth of any business organisation is dependent on their activities and functionality of their managers, so if one is doing well is definitely going to show in their business outputs.

Excellent! A successful manager is a person you can confidently put in a position of a mentor because of his good qualities portrayed in business while a failed manager is probably not good at what he does.
You're right. A successful manager isn't one that hasn't failed before ,but one that learnt from his mistakes and has improved so much on it and not making them again while a failed manager remained defeated and never fought back again

A succesful manager always put the needs of his workers at first and carry them along with all the things going on in the company while a failed manager believes he knows it all.

Actually, I believe that the objective of the company comes first for a business manager who knows what his job for the business because if you don't put the business first, you will not be able to achieve the business goals that are set up for you to achieve.

A successful manager carries his organisational cabinet along while a failed manager leaves his organisational cabinet behind.
A successful manager monitors the organisation from time to time to ensure that the organizational cores and values are intact while a failed manager ignores it into the hands of his staffs.

Evaluation of a successful and good manager is somebody who always strives to get the best out of you. These kind of people are very autocratic and listen to your own opinion.

A successful manager is a manager that works as a team Head in an organisation a manager that knows the strengths and weakness of his co staffs and a failure manager is otherwise.

I completely agree with you that business manager that put the needs of his employees above any other thing else will definitely make for a good and successful manager why business manager that does not care about the success of his employees would definitely not make a good manager as this employees will not give their all into the business there by reducing the productivity of the business.

I love the write up it's an eye opener. But then a successful business manager is not always nice some are pretty rude. I think it's depends on the line of business tho

A successful Manager is coactive while a failed Manager is coercive in nature. A successful Manager gives room for communication and recognizes organisational conflict as an opportunity for innovation and decision making while a failed Manager doesn't give room for communication but forces his views and dictates to workers and sees conflict as trying to pull his office down!
A successful manager is one who has attained his or her business goals, a failed manager is one who has not attained his or her business goals.

You see a successful manger trying to build his staffs so that they can get good output and productivity in the work place. But a failed manager will not be found doing this for his workers
One of the things that will distinguish a manager with prospect of succeeding is the capacity he has build and the experience in managing personell under him.He will just deploy these human management into his operations and things will fall in place.

A successful manager is one that can always listen to you and try to look for ways that can make you better but then a failed manager is somebody that always tries to find fault in everything that you do.

Successful managers are one who achieved organization set goals with brand loyalties while failed manager are those who are incompetent and could not deliver the organization set aims and objectives

✔️Successful Manager: He watches you and advises you.
Failed Manager: Spying on you.

✔️Successful manager raises ideas.
❌ Failed manager raises nerves.

✔️Successful manager: His words are kind and polite.
Failed manager: his words are wrong and rude.

✔️Successful Manager: He wants people who suggest and develop.
❌ Failed manager: He wants individuals who submit to orders and do not discuss.

✔️Successful Manager: He directs you according to your abilities.
Failed Manager: He directs you according to his mood.

✔️ Successful manager: He treats people as human beings.
Failed manager: He treats them as his workers.

✔️Successful manager: interested in hearing your opinion of the work.
Failed Manager: He is interested in hearing your opinion about him.
I agree with most of what you have said, they point how a successful manager should behave but sometimes employees can really get on someone's nerves, do you think it's very wrong to shout?

Successful manager knows how to bring out best in people. This is the reason why they are achieving maximum how to put in every company they handle.

I love this differentiation, you have compiled almost everything in this post. I have had an experience with a bad manager before, trust me, it was. an u pleasant experience, one I don't which to have again
