What's the difference between a successful manager and a failed manager??

A successful Manager is coactive while a failed Manager is coercive in nature. A successful Manager gives room for communication and recognizes organisational conflict as an opportunity for innovation and decision making while a failed Manager doesn't give room for communication but forces his views and dictates to workers and sees conflict as trying to pull his office down!

A successful manager will not be having a problem with an employee that is very goal oriented and efficient. But a failed manager will have a bit problem with you on that because of his insecurities

I think the major difference between the two lies on which company the public patronizes more frequently. A successful manager would succeed in attracting customers to himself, away from a lesser competitor

Well a successful business manager is quite different from the failed one even though the difference is not that much because failure is inevitable in any kind of business. the successful one is always improving his business capacity.

✔️Successful Manager: He watches you and advises you.
Failed Manager: Spying on you.

✔️Successful manager raises ideas.
❌ Failed manager raises nerves.

✔️Successful manager: His words are kind and polite.
Failed manager: his words are wrong and rude.

✔️Successful Manager: He wants people who suggest and develop.
❌ Failed manager: He wants individuals who submit to orders and do not discuss.

✔️Successful Manager: He directs you according to your abilities.
Failed Manager: He directs you according to his mood.

✔️ Successful manager: He treats people as human beings.
Failed manager: He treats them as his workers.

✔️Successful manager: interested in hearing your opinion of the work.
Failed Manager: He is interested in hearing your opinion about him.
One thing that I have noticed that depreciate a field manager from intercepting manager they depart that most skilled managers are always in the habit of praising themselves to high heavens but highly successful managers and mostly humble and they would always want to put in all their best in their work.

Hahahahaha! You completed it all. There's a wide gap between a successful and a failed manager. You know the place of pride has taken away so many managers and has led yo their destruction.

Excellent! A successful manager is a person you can confidently put in a position of a mentor because of his good qualities portrayed in business while a failed manager is probably not good at what he does.

You have made some very good points, I think a lot of qualities differentiate a good manager from a bad manager. It all comes down to characteristics, some managers don't care for the business, they are malicious, selfish and corrupt.

This is a truism. Successful managers should have the feeling of empathy, observe principles when needed. Consult advice from his or her staffs, to know how best to proceed with certain ideas.

I think what differentiate a sales manager from a successful manager is the fact that a field manager can be so lazy and can be so unfocused but a successful manager is very hardworking and very disciplined.

A successful manager usually has the ability to make the right decision at the right time where as a failed manager, it is difficult for him to make decisions that are in the interest of the people in which he works with.

A succesful manager always welcome suggestion from all the staff and picks the best out of it, and he also have a good interpersonal relationship with his workers to create a condusive working environment.

A successful manager will always celebrate a success driven employee to achieve their highest potential, but a failed manager will look for means and ways to pull them down

The difference between the two is not something much to say but it depends on the ability of the manager to be able to run and perform it's duty effectively. even though some of the successful managers may have defects sometime but so minimal.

I totally agree with you. A successful manage is open minded and always hears the opinion of his employees and not just shut them off

The big difference between this two is that one is the opposite, the best way to get their differences is that one person will be doing the opposite of what the other person is doing and in a negative way

I mu

St say these all are correct a successful manager helps and sees him as a co staff with his colleges while a a failed manager sees himself as a boss and fails to work but gives order.

A successful manager exercises group power rather than expressing personal power. A successful manager takes into consideration the needs and disgruntle nature of employees and make amends but a failed Manager portrays tyranny.

Nice one, to add to all what you have said, a successful manager is someone who has been able to raise others who can build and manage the business even in his absent. It is not just by the amount of wealth or success achieved.
You have make some very good points to everyone reading this and also listening to you, you will surely make a very good and reliable manager
