What's the cheapest you've made a site for?

I can build a site for zero cost. I have a lot of unused domains, I have unlimited hosting and I write content myself. If you are doing everything buy yourself it does not cost money to built a website.

I had once creates a site in 2019. I had created it them in partnership with a friend of mine and we planned to use it as a blog but it didn't go on as planned.

A lot of the time, it's pretty easy to design a site on your own. Which means, it defeats the purpose of paying someone else to do it, and in turn saves you money. If you can make your own site, do it, as you will find it a lot cheaper. What is the cheapest you've spent when making a site?

There was a website that promised to pay $1 in 3 days, but I never really got a chance to complete the job. It's the only site I have ever seen that paid so cheap ever.

Yes, I did not learn programming. When I started building websites on wordpress, I wanted to learn programming, I even enrolled for a course but I did not have time to attend the course because I was busy building websites for clients.

The cheapest amount that i have spent on a website was pretty small in terms of business aspect because i used that money to pay for a completly working site which i wanted in other for me to do a business and that was an issue because the site was not doing what i expected it will do for me

I have not really made a site but I think if I have the knowledge to design the site according to my taste , I will gladly do it. Most people copy the source code of other site and modify it.

Seriously, it's what I keep telling most of my friends who are looking for one way or another to make money. They need to realize that having the right information is actually money too.

If you are not hiring and experts to do the job for you, you only need to pay for a domain name registration and hosting account. The total of the two is not up to $100. And there are a lot of free and attractive themes you can use. All of this cost you nothing.

Seriously, there is no way it's going to be a good decision to make use of someone who's not a professional for a business website development and designing, it's not good.

That's exactly my point. But some web owners all in the name of saving money or not want to spend much always design their websites themselves or even hire non professional to do the job for them.

To be candid, I have never set up a site myself and I don't know how much it's being spent to set up a site. Most importantly, I wish to set up a website if I can get any platform in which I can get to know how to design a websites without the help of anyone.

The one I set up in 2019 didn't earn me anything until the blog domain expired a year later. And I didn't get to renew it cos it wasn't bringing me positive.

The fact is, any skill you learn at first, it should be for your benefit. So there's no harm in building ones site by him or her self. I am not certain of the cheapest amount I have used in building mine.

You're right there. If the cheapness isn't your bother at the moment, if you're keen on making your site yourself even if it's for the sake of learning purpose, it's still all good with me
