I'm currently listening to this deconstruction of Sonic CD's Stardust Speedway Bad Future track from the Japanese soundtrack. There's a Google Docs that keeps track of all the samples used in the game's soundtrack, and a few composers took these samples to create this deconstruction of the song. Unlike your typical Sega Mega Drive or SNES game music track, you can't easily mute different sound channels to deconstruct the redbook audio found in Sonic CD.
