What is difference between network marketing and affiliate marketing?

Sorry but this is almost too difficult to buy something use it then ask friends and relatives to come on a platform and start selling those products. The same is for affiliate marketing, the e-commerce websites these days are giving so much discount and then apps providing promo codes that make it impossible to sell anything through your affiliate links. The difference between these two is on the marketing strategy used. Network marketing uses the approach of selling to downlines and hoping that they will sell so that you move up the ladder. But affiliate marking is centered on promoting a product to your network of targeting buyers.

To simply put this, in network marketing you are simply building a network, you are getting people to sign up to a network but in affiliate marketing you are getting people to buy, sign up or take an action.
