network marketing is normally referred to as multi level marketing. You will earn only when you build downline. Affiliate marketing is referring buyers to websites and earning commission

With affiliate marketing, users receive cash for their efforts – whether it be driving sales or signups. ... Network marketing revolves around how many people are actually in your network, i.e. how many you sign-up under you and how much product these people sell through their network.
Affiliate marketing is a system of marketing a product or service through a third party. The affiliate marketer takes up the responsibility of promoting the product to attract sales and gets some commission in return. Network marketing is the strategy of marketing products or services through referral system.

I see ads related to network marketing and affiliate marketing on social media . I also tried some affiliate programs but one thing is creating confusion. I am unable to understand network marketing .So can anyone tell me what is difference between network marketing and affiliate marketing?
Like seriously I also know about affiliate marketing which have done before I guess, but not knowing much about network marketing so I would take my time to read what people could explain about it tho.

Network marketing is like a pyramid of people who bring in a one time payment, where the higher pyramid get paid and get bonuses but affiliate marketing has to do with selling for a company.

Network marketing is the act of selling through cyclic customers referral whereby the refer will get a certain commission based of the company provision. Affiliate marketing is when a company gives a marketer the right to sell advertise their product for them and get commission for the job done.

In network marketing, you will earn money within a particular network and so you need other people to earn more but in affiliate it is quite just one way you refer and earn.

There is a lot of difference in both and I dislike both of this genre of marketing. Sorry but this is almost too difficult to buy something use it then ask friends and relatives to come on a platform and start selling those products. The same is for affiliate marketing, the e-commerce websites these days are giving so much discount and then apps providing promo codes that make it impossible to sell anything through your affiliate links. Sorry but that's the reality.

The difference between these two is on the marketing strategy used. Network marketing uses the approach of selling to downlines and hoping that they will sell so that you move up the ladder. But affiliate marking is centered on promoting a product to your network of targeting buyers.

In network marketing, it's a structure or chain that requires constant addition to ensure everyone grows but in affiliate marketing, you get rewarded on a pay as you work basis and don't need to refer people to earn

I don't see any much difference in them. Since in network you still need to use those basic medium which you make use of when promoting your affiliate products.

Affiliate marketing is the advertising and sales of a company's product using social media where is network marketing does not really have to do with a company though but it's still on the basis of the social media

network marketing needs to refer one another ,while affiliate marketing is the promotion of goods and services of another person which means the goods are not yours ,and you also get paid according to what you've sold

I think the major difference between both is that with affiliate marketing, the individual gets paid for their efforts on trying to market a product, while networking marketing has to do with the number of persons under you

I want to commend you for bringing this confusing terms to the forum for more clarity. Personally, I was confused between the two terms but I fully understand now. There is really much one can learn here while earning some bucks. Thnks to all those who have commented.

To simply put this, in network marketing you are simply building a network, you are getting people to sign up to a network but in affiliate marketing you are getting people to buy, sign up or take an action.

Networking marketing refers to the art of recruiting people into a network and you grow in steps, while affiliate marketing you work alone and promote products and earn

Network marketing is like a tree that requires branches, here I mean in network marketing, you'll need to refer people as a criteria to earn but in affiliate marketing, you get commissions on advertising, marketing and selling of products without necessarily having to refer people.

Network marketing is when you sell your products over the phone or in person while affiliate marketing is the act of pursuing commissions from products that you affiliate

To my own basic knowledge, Affiliate marketing refers to a sales model that uses affiliates to increase product or service awareness using online platforms and earn a commission from sales or leads made. On the other hand, network marketing refers to a business model based on person-to-person sales by a network of distributor
