It's not really my dream business per se. My husband is a graphic designer, so when we moved from his native UK to my country, Botswana, we set up a branding consultancy and graphic design company. Hands down, our biggest challenge is what we like to call the 'who you know culture'. In Botswana, it's very hard to attract organic business unless you know people in very high places. By extension, the other challenge we continue to face is mediocre work from the self-taught designers aka the charlatans, who undercut the qualified professionals to steal clueless clients who sadly can't distinguish between bad and good design.

Tha major challenge that Is kind of stopping me from owning my own business right now is majorly the capital. I lack the funds to actually go out and start pursuing something I am genuinely interested in.
