What are the five motivational factors?

The most important motivational factors are these.
1: Fear

Workers have to know there will be consequences for poor performance and bad behavior. They’ll rise to a higher standard if they are held to one.

2: Peer Pressure

Good managers use people to motivate each other. Bad workers are elevated by good ones. Good workers are dragged down by bad ones. By being mindful of the “negativity saturation”, a manager can drown out the negativity of an individual with a team of positive individuals.

3: Pride

Most people want to feel proud of their work and themselves. If a manager creates a work place that gives their employees a reason to feel proud of their job (and themselves), those employees will perform better.

4: Recognition

It’s human nature to want to be recognized for your efforts. Effective managers express genuine appreciation for an employee’s abilities and output. I’m not saying that everyone should get a pat on the back for everything that they do, rather show them that you see when they are doing good work.

5: Money

Employees say they’ll work harder for more money, rarely is it true. I consider money to be the least effective of the motivators. It should only be used in combination with the above. If you frequently use monetary motivation, the employees will come to expect it and might even resent not receiving it.
Anybody who knows more about these he must share his/her ideas.
Money is the need of the hour in this world of Science and Technology where people are materialistic.
A person cannot live without money in such situations, so a person need money for his family for his friends and for his own life to survive in the world of competitions.

Many factors influence a given student motivation to work and learn, interest in the subject matter, general desire to achieve, environment, facilities as well as patience and persistence. However, not all students are motivated by the same values needs or desires.

Money beats all the other motivational factors for me. I have never seen anything that influences and motivates me the same way that money does. Let me tell you a funny fact about me, if I'm ill and I see or receive money alert in my bank account, I tend to get better like almost immediately. This is how powerful money is for me.

Five motivational reasons for me are acknowledgment, pleasure, well environment, work-life balance and association. It's actually tough to keep successful if you are not inspired. Enthusiasm serves as an energy for us. It's that one aspect that we always look up to each time we sense down and unhappy.

I think it is not good to rely on external factor to motivate you to take an action that you can prove your life. The worst of all the motivate the fact that you listed there is peer pressure. someone who is very visionary and has a purpose for their life will never hate to peer pressure no matter how strong it is. I think a young adolescent or a kid that the one you did to this pressure of peers.

Work life balance

Providing a good work life balance nurtures employees. Motivated employees are less likely to take sick days, leave the organisation and will be more prepared to work longer hours. Equally these same employees are more likely to ‘burn out’ and will feel less motivated if there is not a healthy work life balance.

Reward and recognition

Reward and recognition come hand in hand. Recognition for good work has a limited shelf life; praise begins to lose its impact if not accompanied by reward.
Development

Development is very important for motivating employees; studies have shown that 20% of employees prefer career development opportunities and training to monetary reward.
. Leadership

A study by Gallup found that, only 2 in 10 employees strongly agree that their performance is managed in a way that motivates them to do outstanding work – this clearly displays how much a good leader motivates employees
. Work life balance

Providing a good work life balance nurtures employees. Motivated employees are less likely to take sick days, leave the organisation and will be more prepared to work longer hours
5. Work environment

Motivated employees thrive in a positive work environment. This refers to the physical and non-physical environment – the physical environment is the office space and surrounding areas.

appreciate all what are posted up there from that OP. but I have a few points to add and they are:
nobody does it better than you can
if you give up, it doesn't make any positive change, you're only giving another person Chance to take over from you
Failure in one business is not the failure in all businesses
Stupidity is doing the same thing the same way and expecting a different result
Be creative in your line of business.

Every thing that offends a person is a motivating factor. The primary driving factor in company or in work is need. The employee must be working to devote himself to his job. He leaves to move to another organization if he finds himself ignored at work not to be given his proper promotions. Again, the higher level is required which will give him more money and more duties and obligations and not just recognition.

Nice point you made there, out of what you said I will say money and fear should be the most, because that fear of failure motivates one more to do well, so that they can be recognised among their peers and also the money involved, in fact the money involved is the most important because that money is what will motivate you to work harder so that you can have a means of income for your survival.

Your career motivations are what motivate you when you think about what you want to do in your career. They are the concrete explanations for what you think will accomplish your task. Career motivations are not job titles, such as "lawyer" or "author"

there are many motivational factor that can make a man start up a business or make a man keep going in business first of all it's your goal in the business. The second motivational factor that can keep you going in a business it is they advise you get from friends and family

There is nothing like feel proud of there work the moment they have the spirit of pride then they are close to there downfall.. also fear in work is not a good advantage in that job because you will be to careful to make mistakes that will make you learn something new.

The article mentions very well the pride and recognition to the workers when they perform well, this I think is what motivates workers the most to give their best at work, no one wants to work in a place where all their merits are overlooked or ignored, money, as you also mention, is not the most important factor in keeping your employees motivated and performing well.

Appreciation or recognition for a job well done. Being in the know about company matters. An understanding attitude from the management. Job security. Good wages. Interesting work. Loyalty from management.

Being appreciated definitely works very well for most people when it comes to having them feeling motivated to continue working very hard towards being exceptional in their work. This is the reason why most business owners always find a way to appreciate their employees.
