Using Gradients in designs

What do you think about using gradients? Do you have any tips on how to make a design look more appealing, even professional? Just dabbling for me, I didn’t care for using gradients. I feel if I had more experience, I would do a better job with it. With gradients, you create a new color. Sometimes it doesn’t look as good in the end.

If you do use gradients, do you have specific colors you use the most?

I love gradients myself and use it in 95% of anything I design. It's also great for making a gloss effect.

I'm not very fond of gradients for designs. You did the gradients very well for the footers. The perfect blend.

For the one and only theme I ever created I had to use CSS gradients since I don't know how to create graphics.

I love to see gradients when I see graphics but I have not yet managed to master gradients myself when creating any kind of graphics. It is something I am working on with tutorials on YouTube but I am still working on getting better at it.
