Tools for staying productive and motivated when working from home

To get motivated when working online, you have to arrange your work in a way that you'll be able to have enough rest. When you put too much pressure on yourself or you'll bored yourself with too much work, you'll definitely not be motivated. Also, try to reward yourself at reaching your target.

LoL, That is funny but true. As a business owner There is need for you to have goals for your business.
How else would your business move forward if you don't have set goals for your business. It would be extremely hard.

Some people do not even have plans for their business in the next five years and they cannot tell you where they think their business will be by then and it does not make sense

In anything you do always have a clear and strong reason why you are doing. Your reasons for doing this usually serves as a means of motivation to enable you keep pushing forward to work hard and put in more effort. For me this has been what have always helped me keep pushing forward.

it does not make sense that you can not envisage where your business would be in the next five years, as every business that has become successful knew where they where headed.

What I normally do when I want to stay motivated while working online is to set some hours aside for working online only. I can bring out some hours to work online and some hours in the night to also work online. It keeps me very much motivated.

Well I do to-do lists and it helps me stay motivated more because when I complete tasks from it, I feel proud of myself and that's a great feeling. Also, sometimes I play some kind of role-playing game where you can do similar things like to-do lists and then when you complete them, you can get points and then buy nice things such as armor for your character, etc. I think it's a great way to stay motivated, especially for those who like playing games. I'm pretty sure it's called Habitica and you can find it on the internet.

I know working from home is not always the best. For me I prefer it far more over working at an office or with a bunch of people I don't know or really like. Are there any tools you like to use to stay productive and motivated while working from home?

One of the best ways that you can actually be able to stay motivated and productive when you are working at home is to try as much as possible to cut out any kind of distractions that are going to make you to lose focus in doing your job because you will end up not being productive once you are distracted.
