The only difference between the both of them is that one is online whole the other is offline. E-commerce is an online business where goods and services are advertised and transactions are carried out regarding the goods and services online while regular commerce is the same thing but it is carried out offline through shops and retail centres.

I agree that internet marketing is important for all items, but I don't think it is something that is going to substitute going to a brick and mortar shop. It may provide a shorter shelf time for some products. Customers will purchase everything they need from a supermarket and then return to their conventional style of shopping after they are done.
