The difference between e-commerce and regular commerce?

E-commerce is more like regular commerce with online presence and more reach. I find it funny that people are saying e-commerce will replace regular commerce. Regular commerce is basically buying and selling and e-commerce does that online.

If what you say is true, it is still trade in the end. But I imagine they refer to the physical and the virtual part. So they talk about regular trade (physical) and electronic commerce (virtual). And indeed electronic commerce reaches more people but even so I think that virtual will not replace physical.

I think that direct trade will always have its advantages. Especially when it comes to large purchases. I personally will prefer to make a large purchase that is off high value in person in a store rather than over the internet as there is always the risk that with online fund transfers that something could go wrong with just a minor mistake. Therefore I think that physicals trade will continue to be very important.

to my own knowledge, commerce simply means buying and selling of goods and service while e-commerce means the art of buying and selling of goods and services with everything done on the internet. E-commerce is more common nowadays and a lot of people are into it.

E-Commerce is a form of online shopping where users can buy goods and services from their electronic devices such as a laptop, mobile, tablet. Traditional-Commerce is a traditional approach to buy goods and services in person which involves face to face dealing. It is used to save valuable time and money.

E- commerce is not doubt growing and becoming more accepted by many, but I don't see it replacing real trade. Many people will prefer to do physical trade than to go the e-commerce way. This is because of fear or many uncertainties,trust issues is another factor that should be considered. Besides,we only have few e-commerce sites that are fully grounded and have fully been deliveraring
