Telegram Vs. Whatsapp:

Telegram and Whatsapp are popular communication apps used by businesses and individuals these days. These apps are used by businesses as a contact system. Integration of these apps on the business website is easy. By integrating these apps on the website, businesses provide live support to the clients and visitors, it is mandatory to use one of these apps fr your business and business website.

Recently, Telegram announced that it surpassed 500 million monthly active users. According to Statista, Whatsapp has 1.5 billion monthly active users. Based on the number of users on each of these communication app, you might easily pass a verdict saying Whatsapp is better than Telegram. But that is not the case. Some businesses are using multiple communication apps as you can see they are using messenger, whatsapp, telegram, Viber etc. However, some businesses prefer to use one of these apps.

Which communication app do you have for your business? Which one of these two apps do you want to use for live support.
The two communication apps are very good medium to communicate. But i have been using the two apps and what i observed is that the whatapps has a limit of persons you can add in a group, whereas in telegram the number is limitless and this gives an advantage over whatsapp.

They are both good social media in business advertisements and promotion but I prefers telegram to WhatsApp due to the numbers of members it can take in a groups. The higher the numbers of members, the higher the people that views your adverts.

WhatsApp is going to be very difficult for you to do online business or for marketing because only people that have your contacts will be able to engage in any business with you, telegram might be the best for now.

Whatsapp is the best for me and also a lot of people would readily have WhatsApp installed on their devices than Telegram. It is also better for one on one follow ups.

the both of them are good but I think I personally prefer telegram because you can create a channel that can accommodate thousands of people but whatsapp, the only way you can market it is to create a group and the group is limited.

Telegram for sure is my default go-to because there is no limit to what you can send or receive there.

Whatsapp is a better app for business, because of its "status" feature, if telegram can adopt that, it will go places

In my own candid opinion , i am supporting whatsapp over telegram as the most pooular communication app in which you can use to support your business because its free of scam.

There are obviously many scams on telegram channel and WhatsApp seems to be the best for me I could advertise my business on WhatsApp tv create groups and others

I'd have said telegram but that Whatsapp has that business catalogue function where your products can be on display, perfect for e-commerce; I'll give it to Whatsapp. Besides, it's easier, more friendly and quicker to use

WhatsApp is going to be very difficult for you to do online business or for marketing because only people that have your contacts will be able to engage in any business with you, telegram might be the best for now.
It is easy to sell your products to people you know on WhatsApp than people who do not know you at all. You are right about the numbers telegram can take but you can still get referrals from your contact on WhatsApp.

I think WhatsApp is the best app for businesses, because a lot of people are familiar with the app, also it has a status feature which telegram doesn't have . I think WhatsApp has a upper edge. But it would seem they are facing problems due to privacy issues.
I do not believe that WhatsApp is the best application for businesses as WhatsApp does not have the amount of audience that Facebook has. I think WhatsApp can only be a good way for you to be communicating with your client but not a good way for you to get new client for your business.

Okay what will happen if you sell your products to people you know and they all bought it, won't you look for a way you can sell it to people you do not know ? it is easier for you to sell to people you know but difficult to sell to people you know not know ,that is why it is better to start with people you do not know.

Whatsapp is very popular but I prefer telegram because it is unlimited. You could see previous messages before you joined any group besides you can search a keyword and find group if interest

At the moment, I think I prefer WhatsApp. I can easily manage and access my contacts on WhatsApp. In recent days hardly will you see a person using smartphone without being on WhatsApp but it's possible no to be on telegram

If you are able to convince the people that you know to buy from you, getting people who you do not know to buy your products will be easier because those who you know that have patronised you, will help with the positive reviews of your products which your prospectives customers will read before they buy from you.

For me whatsapp is good,I cause there are so many things that you can do on whatsapp and you can't do it on telegram ,like video calls ,voice call and other,

WhatsApp is far more better to promote Business than telegram. A lot of people are not even using telegram and I believe WhatsApp is widely used among People all over the world.

Whatsapp is good because it has more user base but then again I prefer telegram because it has more features

Positive preview doesn't happen in WhatsApp because any transaction you are doing is not like a freelance sites that give you an opportunity to leave a review .I still believe it is easier to sell to offline people you know than those you don't have channel

I don't use whatsapp these days, so can it actually be used as a chat option between a business and customers? I thought it was just used as a chat/video chat service. I didn't know you can implement a ticketing system for bugs and support tickets. Does it have all of that?

If it doesn't have those options, I see no real point to use whatsapp to converse with customers. I think something like Freshdesk would be better.
