Stealing content

There are some countries where plagiarism is punishable by law and you can file a lawsuit against the plagiariser and the plagiariser could be persecuted as well.
I know there are some countries that are very strict with people's content to that extent. Is just really bad to find out that people will just copied your content without even acknowledging you as the original writer.

i honestly understand your pain and i have experience this same exact thing before, all i would have wanted from the person was just an acknowledgement and that is all, but i did not get it.

You can easily ban a forum user if they submit plagiarized material.
You can ask the site owner to delete content if it has been duplicated and posted on another website.
The greatest method to combat content theft is to do this.

yes, i support that motion of banning users that plagiarize other users contents on the platform, this is a platform for sharing of your own views and not some other persons views.

Plagiarism occurs everywhere over the net and that's why monetization sites like Google AdSense and co frown seriously at it. It's unfortunate we have lazy people who're only out to look for quick money; but the one thing that'll differentiate you guys is the dates of posting.

No, this has never happened to me as i don't own a forum yet. I would be very mad if this were to happen to me. I think i would confront the member because it's really annoying.

This has happened to me last month ,and it is quite frustrating to see your works being used by another person without quoting you are seeking for your permission.
You could sue the person in court if he can be traced I believe.

To my knowledge, this has never happened to me but I can understand your frustration if I am honest. There is nothing worse than having someone take something you wrote that is your own knowledge or own opinion and having them just copy and paste it as their own. I myself no matter where I post or write, I always ensure it's my own opinions, own knowledge, and own thoughts, and could never dream of taking someone else's work and passing it off as my own. If I ever do take anything it's usually for a quote and I make it a quote and link it back to the original author.

It is possible in one case if the advertiser is purchasing articles from you but getting them for free without pay any money or at least refer back to the article is something prohibited because you spend hours in writing the article so it is not smart at all.

There was a book that I was editing that I later went to find out that somebody had copied everything word for word and was about to register it . I was able to report them on time and they were prosecuted.
