Starting a small business in Nigeria has never been easy considering what you’d have to go through to raise business capital towards setting up and running a profitable business. Basically, it’s all about money money money! The worst part of it all is that most potential profitable small businesses in Nigeria needs much amount of money to get it started — most times, far much beyond what average Nigerian small business aspirants can afford.
You're absolutely right about this, I'd you don't have money in Nigeria then it would be nearly impossible for you to be able to start up your own business, the government won't help you no matter the level of idea and business plan you have upstairs, it's just really so pathetic.

Small business starting is a good thing. But It is not a very good business. If we think big and manage a small business then we can grow up a small business in a big business. On the other hand if we think small and manage a big business then it is suits us.

In this country Nigeria, there are alot of business that are small in which someone can start with little capital but the thing is most people wants to live large in a day and some find some of those small business ridiculous for their status

Starting a small business in Nigeria can be very challenging. If you don't have a capital getting loan to fund the business is a problem and ebn you eventually get capital to setup the business the government will come with obnoxious policy that can run down the business. It's really disheartening
I think there is any business is not small . business is business it does not matter that business is small or business is large. Sometimes small business give us a huge amount of profit and sometime large business give us less profit so it is does not matter.

Having a good understanding of the business you are going into is the first thing you must put in place before you think of going into any business because without proper understanding of the business higher possibilities of business collapse, location is also very important.

Buniess starting is not easy for many people's. Start buniess much money time and experience.planning a buniess.mange a buniess.chose a buniess structure. Chose your business name and much more.

Starting a small business in Nigeria can be very uneasy because people at times thinks no business is small in this country, then, they start to think of capital that will be incurred, availability of materials, co workers and how to get enough customers so as to make more profit

Opening a business is always a great idea. However, the greatest challenge you could face in starting one is capital.
Accessing such capital sometimes maybe elusive due to lack of collateral or proper documentation as the case maybe. Different funds Have been setup by the government to solve such issues. But, a major Problem is that most people do not have any knowledge of such funds.

Never start a business as a "sole proprietorship",which can result to personal assets being at risk for the debts and liabilities of the business. Follow all corporate formalities, make sure to keep funds separate, make sure to keep taxation separate, All transactions made by the corporate should be clearly separate from individual transactions.

I quite agree agree with you. People should go into a business they have financial capability and capacity to finance, not that they'll start and won't be able to manage it well.

a small business really takes little or no effort to start, to manage it and grow it is only what requires stress and if you're experienced in business, you won't find it as a problem.
