I can easily eat a gallon of home-made peach ice cream by myself (but my tummy gripes at me later). It's one of the few things that I will go overboard on... and it ALWAYS takes be back to my childhood and my Mom making it during the summer. In fact, I have BOTH the ice cream makers she used to use... the manual one and then the electric she upgraded to when they became available.

My grandma and her brother have tried to recreate the ice cream their grandma made them - so I've had many servings of home made ice cream over the years lol. It's been quite a while though! I've never tried peach ice cream, but I really want to now. It's good to have a comfort food that takes you back to when you were younger! It's awesome you even use the ice cream makers she used.

It does go so fast lol. I've been spending the week cleaning bit by bit and a lot of random naps. My days disappear!

I hate packing for a house move. Feels *endless*.

Oh my goodness I hate that too! I've only moved 3 times but it was all in the span of 20 months which was just ugh. But hopefully I am now in my forever home. 🥰

The first ever move is pretty alright because I had nothing but clothes and some technology like a pc/laptop and Playstation... The second move was bad cuz it was a break up so in a hurry and messy. 3rd move was to the house I bought and made into my home so let's cross fingers. 😋

I get it. My first move was kinda bad because I had so much crap. 2nd move was easy but then I left like all my forks and spoons and other utensils accidentally. 3rd move I Moved to my grandparents and I left everything packed basically so then the next move. 5th move was the roughest and at this point I have too much crap lol.

Haha I get it. I'd have to sort through a LOT of my stuff now if I were to move again. And I would get rid of so much more than what I got rid of when I moved in here. It's kinda weird but living in a moderate house, I don't want clutter so I basically became more minimalistic in some sort of way. Chaotic cupboards are NOT my thing.

And listen to us being grown ups and talking about clutter. It makes me feel "old" being this happy about a water filter I bought today. 12 year old me would've rolled eyes so hard... 😆

Haha I get it. I'd have to sort through a LOT of my stuff now if I were to move again. And I would get rid of so much more than what I got rid of when I moved in here. It's kinda weird but living in a moderate house, I don't want clutter so I basically became more minimalistic in some sort of way. Chaotic cupboards are NOT my thing.

I want to have collections of things and have things on my wall and stuff. I never had that really, but waiting until we move to get some pictures printed officially and have them hung up! I would like some areas being more minimalist for sure - but my gaming room and even living room possibly just want a bit more decor!

@Reverie Y'see, besides my fanfiction work since 2006 where I'm a struggling fanfic writer, since I returned to the forum scene 4 years ago, I write trivia questions for the trivia game I hosted originally and decided to bring it back. I also write the events and stuff that happened from 1984 and 1993, because I have 9 world almanacs I bought off of eBay since last December.

Morning everyone! What is everyone planning to do today?

my daughter is having her birthday today. Well it was her birthday 20 June but today is her day. We’re heading out so she can ride some horses and in the afternoon we’re heading out to a little children ‘festival’ with her classmates. With a bunch of bouncy castles. I’ll be sure to share some pictures when we get there.

I also bought a bunch of Pokémon cards yesterday for her birthday since she wants tp start collecting, so my inner child is only encouraged now. 🤪

Hey everyone, sorry I've been inactive for about a whole week. I've been getting more hours at Michaels as of late and I've been preparing for my second part-time job. I don't know if I'll be able to be on AJ much once I start my other part-time job, but I'll try and stick around and post as often as I can.
