I was wondering why the shelves at my local HEB were so empty. Where I live, it only says we're getting some extremely low temperatures. It has said a percentage of snow off and on, but right now the forecast says nothing about snow. When will Mother Nature make up her mind?
The news says we should be getting morning snow showers on Monday. It's crazy that the low is 9 degrees on Monday for us! Won't get above freezing until Wednesday either. D: It's been pretty consistent that we'll get stuff on Monday. Which annoys me because I need to cancel my dentist appointment for that morning then.
Our temperatures and forecast have been going back and forth, but as of this very moment the low for the 10-day forecast is 10 degrees and the lowest high is 25 degrees. It was 40-something today and I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts to the supermarket, I think in the upcoming days I'll be whipping out my hoodie for the first time this winter!
There's always one guy in shorts lol
And that guy is me lol. It's 17 degrees here, earlier when it was 28 and the wind was blowing I was outside taking out the trash. I wear shorts pretty much all the time and today was no exception. Also going back to the Covid test, I didn't take one but my spouse did. Their test was negative. My symptoms are lingering but like I said I feel like I'm starting to get better.
Yeah, I wear shorts most of the time except when it's freezing outside normally. So many people, particularly older people, have always commented on me wearing so few clothes during the winter. They're often like, "Where is your jacket, young man?"
That's a positive note to hear.
I needed my hoodie for in the wind, but definitely was hot in the store. D:
Man I can't imagine wearing shorts when it's that cold! I just went into my garage barefoot xD It's crazy how cold it is in the garage! Glad the test was negative and I hope you feel better! A lot of people got sick over the last few weeks which is crazy to me! The timing of everyone getting sick is weird.
That's the thing I hate about wearing warm clothes outdoors, that you usually have to find a place to put them indoors because the indoor temperature is much warmer.
