FluxBB is a fork of PunBB, which is why I grouped these two together. Anyways have you ever used either one of these forum platforms before? They're both super lightweight, so they don't come with common features out of the box. For example, if you want a private messaging system you'll have to install a plugin for that. I've used both in the past and prefer PunBB over FluxBB. The latter hasn't seen a update since 2018 and will be merging with Flarum in the future. PunBB was updated early last year.
