In motivating employees, you can try to give them monetary rewards but I feel that the best way would be to give them work incentives such as improved pension, HMO and bonuses. That would spur them on.
Giving your employing that are doing well at work a monetary reward or promotion is one of the best way to appreciate their hard working effort at work and to motivate them to keep working more.

I completely agree with you, all employees love the it when they are motivated, but on your on point of view, by what means do you think and employer will motivate his employees.
