It was a fun experience, but I didn't renew my domain or my hosting after that.

On topic, I have never bought a name. My current blog uses the .blogspot.com ending and it doesn't seem to be a distraction for my fans.

The domain name was bought from Namecheap. It was not really cheap, as I paid around $11 for it. The disadvantage of Namecheap is the fact they don't offer as many coupon codes as GoDaddy.

Regarding how I came up with the name, I did it quite randomly.
