Is people management a needed skill for all managers?

Even though the aim of every entrepreneur is profit however ability to manage the manpower factor which are the engine room of any organization is also important. The better you are able to do this the efficient the work will be.

In business you have to meet a lot of people they even management is needed as a manager you cannot manage people let me know about the bed a good manager is not only going to manage goods and services but must also be a good manager or human resources
 
Your interpersonal skills we go in a long way on your ladder to success play you are meeting with people either at workplace or any other organisation. You will always have your way whenever you are in trouble if you have a good interpersonal skills. It'll be easier for you to go along with lots of people without any hindrance while other people will be complaining. I think it is very important to imbibe this skill.

It is somewhat shocking that Managing Directors feel it is only right for Human Resources Persons (HR) to possess people management skills as if they (MD) are not supposed to be well equipped with this particular skill.

People management skills is not only a needed skill for all manager but a must to have skill for all managers who want to be successful in business. When you are a poor manager, you can be sure of destroying the business in the shortest time.
 
What could the manager of a company be managing without human? Human management is the core objectives of the managerial roles. As a manager of an organization, you learn to manage the employees and the customers. You should know how to relate to these set of people according to their needs.

Yea @kayode10. If you are skilled in handling issues both internally and externally, you will do absolutely well in life. You won't have problems as a person and as a manager. The people management skill should always be spot on!
 
I couldn't agree more with you on thiss, yes I believe its also important, as a manager your duity is not just to manage the company resources, you should also be able to manage those under you as well, humans are also part of a company. Empathy is a skill that is not emphasized enough for leaders to possess, it lets you connect with people and show that you understand their struggle
 
Yes, people's management skills is a requisite skill needed by all managers because they won't only be managing the business but they will also be managing people that are working in the business so therefore it is highly important that they learn how to manage people too.
