Is it better to start a small business on your own or with a business partner?

Of course starting business alone will give you a freedome and full control of the desition and many other things, but the downside of starting business is that you could get lazy and spending time off the business and since you are alone all of your desitions will not have others opinion and suggestions so may be your desitions are wrong, and your business will be limited only on your knowledge and expreance.

If you have the capital needed to start your small business without having to borrow money to complete everything, it's not necessary to look for a business partner. If you have a good business plan for the small business, in a few years time, the business will expand.

I don't buy the idea of working with partners on a business. Most of the partnership business crumble at last. So, I do not see reasons why we need to give ourselves headache on partnership business.

The reason why most partnership crumble is because they never had a very good arrangement before starting the partnership. This is where a lot of people make mistakes when they are going into business partnership.

Whenever you want to go into a business partnership, everything about that partnership must be defined, agreed upon and signed by both parties in order to ensure that such a business arrangement last for a very long time.

Depends on your business and what you want to do. It's probably better to have a partner in it, so you have two heads. And this way you can bounce ideas off of each other. And if you deal with issues, having another person involved helps.

But, it's possible to do it alone. Just preferred to have a partner or two if possible.

The experience that I had with partnership business is not palatable . I prefer to do my thing alone and that I think it's the best for everyone. I will like to do my thing solo.

This is actually the reason why it is always going to be in your best interest not to be in a hurry to enter into partnership with just anyone that comes your way.

You have to take time to assess and evaluate those who are interested in joining a partnership with you and pick the best person that have the same objective that you have for your business.

The both of them are all good, it all depends on your financial capability, if you have the money, you can run it along, but it is good to have business partner, there is a saying that quote that two heads are better than one.

I will look for a business partner when it's inevitable I wouldn't have the capacity to finance my business plan on my own. If I can finance my business plan on my own, what else will a business partner do for me?

Many people may not prefer partnership-based business due to privacy issues. In case if a person prefers privacy, then it would never be recommended to start a partnership-based business. However, there are certain people who may start a partnership-based business and they may still manage to maintain secrecy. A working partner has a higher chances of maintaining secrecy.

It is not even about privacy issue that I will be worried about when it comes to starting a business partnership but being able to find the right person that will have the best interest of my business at heart. This is so that it will ensure my business being successful for both of us to be able to making profit from the business that I'm worried about.

I think that we can say that privacy is also one of the aspects that may affect partnerships, even though it may not concern many people initially. The fact remains that there are many people who have secrecy issues and this is why they usually dissolve partnership due to this issue. However, profitability might be the main concern of many people as you pointed out. They just need to sacrifice secrecy.

There are times when you need patnership in business when you are involved in a huge business , but its better to start alone when you know you are capable of handling the business.

If I cannot be able to start my business because of financial difficulties, I might have to make the decision on starting the business based on partnership agreement with another person who is also interested in doing the same business I have in mind.

Choosing a business partner is something that should be done carefully because this is someone that 50% of your business operation depends on. When it's someone that is not reliable and trustworthy, your business will definitely hit the rock bottom because the person is going to mess up a lot of things in your business.

Not all partnerships give the partner exclusive right to half of the business. So, it is really dependent on what the business owner is looking at when looking for a partner. Do you want to have equal stakes or a partner for a specific section? Analysing and working with that is very important.

Well, when it comes to partnership based businesses, there are many things that you may need to consider. The business operations are not necessarily handled equally when it comes to business partnership, especially when it comes to a working partner. They handle things differently.

Whenever the business operation is not handled equally by both partners, I believe that there are some other aspect of the business the partner who is not fully involved in the business operation activity is going to take more charge in order to balance his commitment in the business partnership.
