Is it advisable for a business owner to give free products or services to their family members?

I can not support of giving a free product to relative (family or friends) because there is no relative in a Business, do your business and make money. But I can just say if it's terms of service, we can collect a complete of material money that we want use for the work and we can reduce the price of service for our relatives.

My dear the business and family are two different things.You can give gifts to your family members from what you're selling but there should be limit, it's not Everytime they keep coming you keep giving you're only bringing your business down because those people will never stop taking. @GIFTMICHAEL i supported your point. it really not advisable to give free product to a family and friends. this is because business involves ricks taking and the aim to a business is to yield profit. giving free product can bring lost to you business which may leads to the down fall of the business.

They have to pay for the services rendered, but occasionally, you could give them a little discount
