Ice Cold Soda is Only Acceptable

Advertisement Placeholder
If you keep your refrigerator at 37°, your drinks are plenty cold enough.
I miss the old chest type coolers of the "bad old days" when your drinks came in bottles and the bottle opener was on the unit.
It was not unusual to pull one out, pop the top and end up with a nice icy mix in the top of the bottle. Also, I've always found the glass bottle drinks to have a better flavor than cans or out of plastic.

I disagree, I don't mind room temperature soda. Of course it does taste better cold, I don't like putting too much ice in my soda either.
Room temp Coke Zero is about like drinking apple cider vinegar. Both nasty!
There are a few soft drinks that I have found that are decent when warm. Dr. Pepper is one of them, Sprite another. A few of the root beers are also decent. But all are better ice cold.
